One of my favorite things about this place is their closing time is sunset. That means you always know, as long as the sun is still up in some fashion, you can get some yummy in your tummy Cow-A-Bunga ice cream!
This place smells like the delicious homemade waffle cones and ice cream they are famous for as soon as you get close to the door. Well, unless it is busy- and then it might smell like the saltwater dripping from the person in front of you's head (or the sunscreen slathered on their back if you are short)... because the line gets long, and that is the ONLY reason this place doesn't get 5 stars! The space is cramped and the line gets a little unorganized and crazy if their are a lot of people screaming for ice cream. But, it is worth the hassle and wait. Customer service is great, and the line does move fast.
They have coffee and others things too apparently, one time I saw someone waiting in a 10 minute line to get a Latte... which was weird, as the ice cream is where it is at, but to each their own!
Bonus, if you like cows, there is funky little cow decor all over. Moooooooo-ve over other ice cream shops, cause Cow-A-Bunga is where I am going when I want Ice...
   Read moreOur family has here before and it has been nice enough to continue coming back.. went there this evening with our kids. Just got back from the mile walk... Walked the half mile and got there 25 minutes before the closing time indicated online.. well, they closed early..
I asked the employee that was standing at the door if theyâd honor their closing time stated online considering our four year old just walked a half mile to come to their shop... he couldnât have cared any less.. said ânope, weâre closed, we donât go by online hours, we go by what our manager tells usâ... fantastic customer service if you want to be treated poorly..
Many other customers showed up as we were... WHY WOULDNâT YOU HONOR THE TIMES THAT YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE ABLE TO SEE????

   Read moreSo I wasn't going to review this but the young man working had such a bad attitude this morning. What is the point of working early if you have a bad attitude about it. This young man rolled his eyes several times then i seen him with his mask off. I don't know why a couple months ago everyone was nicer there. Then they closed for a bit because someone told me a couple of kids there had Covid-19, (but there website says small fire????) and open with kids given an attitude. Why? The ice cream is from thrifty anyways nothing special. I'll take my money elsewhere and hopefully every other...
