North Shore Ace Hardware — Local services in Incline Village-Crystal Bay

A dark, dingy building, with isles of dust covered items. Shelved items out of order & no thought given to grouping related items together. I purchases new fluorescent bulbs. I asked if I could bring the old ones to them to be properly disposed of. The clerk stated no, but not to worry. He explained how the store disposed of theirs..... put in large garbage bag and stomp on end to release gasses ect. Then tie up and "chuck it" in with regular trash. Otherwise take them to county site over 30 minutes away & pay fees for correct disposal practice. This is in a most beautiful national park area town at the top of California. Well it might be the best hardware store in Incline Village in at least it's old maintained and the staff is great you two might find what you need here at least there is no competition or struggle when it comes to shopping this place is only busy early in the morning and will accommodate your knee...

Extremely helpful staff, I'm blown away at their inventory for operating on such a small amount of land. I used to never want to go into hardware stores because I would always leave the big chains feeling incompetent and ignored. I actually look forward to a trip here now, couldn't recommend this...
