THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN! NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. The bartender (Ryan, Brian, whatever he was the worst) told us to get our toddler under control. YOU DONT THINK WE ARE TRYING?! YES he was having a hard time in the restaurant. We brought toys, tried his favorite shows, walked in and out of the restaurant many times to take him away from the other customers while WAITING on our food to get there because he was HUNGRY and tired from a long day at the beach, like everyone else in that restaurant. It is 100000 degrees inside. OF COURSE he is cranky! We tried everything we could to calm him down, trust me, we don’t like seeing him in that state and also don’t want to have others experience it. But again, he is a little boy and is HUNGRY and we are PATIENTLY waiting for our food to CALM HIM DOWN. But I’m sorry, YOU DO NOT tell a mother who btw, is holding her NEWBORN BABY, to calm her kid down. YOU DONT THINK WE ARE TRYING?!?! we just want to feed our kid and leave!!! It’s miserable for us too!!! What would have been a better approach is to ask if we need anything to help our toddler or offer us a table outside if available to appease his precious bar customers. HE WAS NOT understanding, empathetic, did not comp us anything, VERY RUDE and made me very angry and continued to fight fire with fire and argue with me. Got in my face, Not professional, THE WORST service I have ever had. I felt very forced to leave and take our food to go. So that’s what we did and ate our pizza outside of our truck. And guess what? He was happy once he got pizza. My friends left a tip because the server and hosts were friendly. I really hope none of that cash goes to the worst...
Read moreHad to give it a one because zero wasn't an option. We as a group tired to but an order in over the phone, the girl answering the phone was so bad and rude that my friends stopped placing an order because there's no way she's getting this food order right, I heard part of it and I agreed. She has no idea what she was doing. They ended up going somewhere else ordering over 200.00 from a different place. I wanted the bread pudding as it was good last time I order it. So I went by myself to whitecaps thought I'f I went in they won't mess up a pizza and bread pudding. Nope I was wrong, I pizza was going to be somewhere over a hour but she wasn't sure and didn't ask, so I recognize that my friends were right, right away I say I think I will just get the banana bread pudding, it was over 30 minutes and I get it back to the house. Everyone else had a great meal and I got this.. burnt bread pudding and missing something on top. I called talk to the man in charge and he really didn't care or offer a solution, it had very little caramel I had to scrape off the bottom and no whip cream he didn't care enough to even give him a chance to explain why it's burnt. I paid 11 for these 2 little burnt pieces of dry nasty banana bread pudding. It would have been nice to have a replacement or refund, instead I got well we all ready messed it up so that how it is. Never go there and if the server or hostess doesn't have a clue what's going on, get up and go somewhere else.. follow the locals when they stop there order and go somewhere else, you should too. Shame on the manager to be so cocky when a customer calls to tell him about a problem, maybe shut up and listen to what your...
Read moreI am very disappointed in myself for not taking pictures of our food! But, I'll do my best to describe. We ordered a single pizza, 16", half Hawaiian and half Meat Combo (or equivalent, apologies for not remembering the specific name). We also ordered a large Caesar salad with chicken added to it. It was a call-in order and I was 6 minutes driving one-way.
Sticker shock - those two items were $51 before tip. I didn't think it question it while I was there, very stupidly, but you can imagine the car ride home alone after I realized what happened!! I guess they charged me for each pizza type? Why was it so much?? The salad was around $12, and $4 added for the chicken.
I would have been semi-okay if our $30 pizza was killer, the best tasting local pizza ever, etc., but this pizza was fairly sad :*( The crust was soft and chewy, the ingredients were scant and below the minimal amount of ham and pineapple needed to call a Hawaiian pizza a Hawaiian pizza.
The Caesar salad was just as sad. The lettuce was mostly fresh, but some was wilting. There was not a lot of salad for a large dinner size salad either. It was barely enough to split between two people. The chicken chunks were very strange as well. It looked like it was something that was purchased in its served form. The chicken cubes were very cold (yay!) But they also appeared too uniform to be done by hand. They tasted fine but had a hint of chemical of some kind.
Overall, it was really a bad experience. We were excited for local Tahoe pizza, and this was a disappointment for us. I hope that your experience is/was better...
