So I shared my story on yelp and then the lady who peirced me commented and called a liar and exaggerator. Which makes me want to share my story with everyone even more!! Someone who has treated me this wrong and rudely and now calling me these names I don't want anyone else to have to deal with how UNPROFESSINAL she is being! I don't care if you are part owner. There's no reason to be that rude and unprofessional. My story: The lady who pierced me seemed like she knew what she was doing and everything had 5 stars on them. Little did I know what issue I was about to get myself into... This was the second time I was piercing my nose. I had to pull my first one out before it had completely healed for surgery purposes. So I went into lucky 7 on my birthday to get it re pierced (not the same shop as the first time) I was told I was pierced with an 18guage first off and that's what my jewelry was. I was told by my original piercer that it was actually a 20 gauge which is smaller than 18. I took ibuprofen afterwards to help with swelling just like I did the first time I got my nose pierced only thing is when I came home that night after drinking I looked in the mirror about 230 in the morning to find that the stud had in fact sunk into my nose because the rod was too small for my nose. At this point my friends had me push it back out and when I got it back out to the surface they said it started to sink in again. There was no way to leave it in because if I did for the rest of the night it would have sunk back in and my original piercer confirmed with me that just what I thought it would have healed like that during the night causing me more issues. My friends and I tag teamed it and pulled it out of my nose. We tried to get my original post in my nose right after we got the new jewelry out but it would not go in. At this point I had been in tears from pain for over a half hour trying to deal with the matter in the middle of the night so I gave up and said screw it let it close. The only way to contact my piercer was to call the shop. Which obviously at 230 in the morning no one is going to answer. I called the piercer 2 days later only because the next day I was at work all day and could not call. I asked about a refund. At this point she (the piercer) starts yelling at me for not contacting her and for taking the jewelry out!! How am I supposed to contact you in the middle of the night about the issue?!! And like my first piercer confirmed with me that if I had left it in my nose it would have sunk back in and healed more with it halfway inside my nose causing me more issues. The lady finally told me I could come in for a refund and hung the phone up on me!! Very rude customer service!!! I was very upset and pissed off! Will never go there or recommend the shop to...

The piercer (I didn’t catch his name) accidentally switched the jewelry I had chosen—what I picked for my ears was placed in my nose, and vice versa. I was bothered by this but didn’t say anything at the time, since he said they couldn’t be removed once in place.
Later that evening, one of my nose studs fell out. This was especially frustrating because I had paid extra for flat-back studs, which, when placed correctly, are designed to stay secure and be very difficult to remove. Clearly, it wasn’t placed properly, as it fell out within 5 hours.
I’m not from Tahoe and had no spare jewelry. By the time I returned home, the piercing had closed completely, and I was unable to wear any jewelry in it. When I called the shop, they refused to offer any assistance or a refund.
Now I’m left with the wrong jewelry in my ears, one nostril piercing with incorrect jewelry, and the other nostril piercing closed. I spent $130 at this shop, plus another $80 at a different shop to get that original nostril piercing that is now gone. This entire experience was a waste of my time and money, and I’m extremely disappointed.
This shows a complete lack of accountability and concern for their customers. If you value your money and want reliable work backed by good customer service, I strongly recommend...
Read moreIf I could give 10 stars I would! I've been to several other places for tattoos and piercings alike and usually I feel, at the very least, rushed if not outright unwelcome or even burdensome, but every time I walk into Lucky 7 its all warm greetings and patients and the willingness to really talk about what you are looking for and what you want, which is HUGE with tattoos and piercings. They treat you like a person rather than a dollar sign and never once did it feel like I was an inconvenience or unwelcome. They have even saved several of my previous piercings that were botched at the aforementioned 'other' places. Just the other day I went in for an industrial and conch piercing and Kathleen was AMAZING! She took the time to explain the piercings and make sure they were in just the right spots, she has a great eye, a steady hand and a great personality, the whole time we just chatted like it was nothing. I'll always refer Lucky 7 and I'll always go back myself, its clear they all care about the quality of their work and the people...
