Plato's Closet Grove City — Local services in Jackson Township

I called in first explaining everything I was going to bring in because I was moving and had two car loads that I was bringing. I didn't want to waste there time as well as mine if they wouldn't accept the items. They said yes they accept all the items and toys and to bring them in. Very excited I did just that. Took me about an hour to bring everything in to them and they didn't help hold the door and I have a severe autistic son who likes to run away so needless to say it was extra hard crossing the road delivering goods, trying to open doors and wait to talk to a representative who was having personal conversations with other representatives there. I was frustrated that I received no help and they clearly saw I was struggling and almost in tears for my son making a scene. I never received a call like they said I would so I called back the next day. They gave everything back to me except the clothes and two toys. REALLY? Don't tell people you will accept the items and then not especially for the trouble I went through just having to re do it all over the next day with no help. I only received 20.00 for 50 pairs of clothing items and two toys REALLY????? I was soooooo mad like how does that even add up? Being exhausted and frustrated I said what ever its 20 more dollars than what I had. I was so mad I just went over and donated the items they refused. if you want money for your items do not come here because you will loose money and gain nothing and they don't help you when they see you struggling they turn there heads and continue to talk like you don't exist. Then when your waiting at the register to claim the items obviously you have to show ID to prove its you but the wait for them to check it is ridiculous. This experience has made me so mad and frustrated I will not be back or anyone I know. HORRIBLE...

The attitude of all the little girls in there is appalling. It’s not welcoming at all. The moment we walked in they just gave us dirty looks and became chatty at the front. Don’t waste your time trying to sell any clothes here. We waited 2 hours for them to look thru our items and they didn’t take anything. I had name brand items from Michael Kors, Victoria Secret, Hollister and the list goes on and on. The short hair Mexican girl with the piercings in her face was super rude and rolling her eyes as she handed our id back to us. This place needs new employees or management needs to do their job and basically babysit them at the front because there’s no need for a constant attitude to the customers. I will never be going back to this store. Absolutely horrific experience. Corporate come do something about this, I’m not the only customer who is complaining about this same...

I frequently look for new apparel at Plato's and am always met with an incredibly delightful experience! The workers there are super polite and helpful, always serving with a smile! I'd seek out help from people such as Mabel, Carina or Gav as they are all incredibly nice and cooperative! The only reason that I haven't given it 5 stars though is that as of recently I've been caught in an uncomfortable predicament of witnessing unfair treatment of many of these lovely employees. This comes from one of the store's managers named Alexis, as I have overheard them taking out their petty frustrations on coworkers and expressing an unfair abuse of their position. I love coming here as I feel welcome by almost everyone who works there, but I feel like there needs to be something done...
