This place has a lot of very nice western wear. I went in today, 12/28/2021, and picked out a very nice pair of Ostrich boots, a leather jacket and vest and a very nice black trench coat. I took it to the register and waited approximately 10 minutes. There was myself and one other couple as customers. I asked the other customer if they knew where anyone who works there could be and they had no idea. I went and looked in the back and saw now one. Went back to the register to stand by myself for a few more minutes. Finally, the other customer said he thought he saw someone walk past quickly towards the back. I went in the back again and knocked on the employee only door. A heavy set girl (cashier) was back in the storage area messing around with boxes. I asked her if she could please ring me up and she rudely replied "you're going to have to wait a while, I'm the only one here today". There was another man back there with her, so I assume he didn't work there? I told her "well, I've been waiting at the register for about 15 minutes now, so I'd say I've waited a while already". She told me I'd just have to wait longer, so I walked back to the cash register and put my items back where I got them and walked out. The register was still unattended when I left.
I can't imagine that this is the norm or the place wouldn't stay in business. I had over a thousand dollars worth of merchandise which I intended on purchasing and I ended up walking out. I hope whatever she was doing in the back for 15+ minutes was worth that amount or more...

Read moreToday we went into boot barn and received the Worst customer service I have ever received at any boot barn nation wide. Me and my husband shop almost exclusively at boot barn for his work attire. Today we asked for help on ordering a larger size of jacket for my son only to be ignored after I repeated my question 3 Times to the assistant manager. When I confronted her about being ignored she told me I was interrupting a conversation (her and 3 other employees were chit chatting). When we were done shopping as I walked out to load our 3 children and my husband paid, he was never asked for his rewards number I went back into the store only to be told that we needed to call customer service if I wanted my rewards. I explained I would just like to return my items and than repurchase them using my rewards card. The assistant manager (she refused to give me her name and wasn’t wearing a name tag) told me in order to return I needed to give her my rewards number and that I would have a negative rewards balance. I than asked if I could just open myself a rewards card and was told that I can’t since I am not my husband who was the original purchaser. I finally just said just return my items and they said their computer was messed up and wasn’t allowing a return. I have been into this store at least 3 time prior without my husband and always had a pleasant experience today my husband was there with my and it was as if we were in the way. Read moreNext to no stock in Ariat and Cinch jeans while there's half a wall stacked with generic blue wranglers. Everything is geared for skinny people, 30 or 32 waist with no real size selection in each style. They're missing several styles, again favoring skinny people with slim and extra slim cuts, while not carrying much for relaxed or boot cut styles. There are racks and racks full of shirts and belts, and a very small selection of hats. Their actual boot selection is modest at best, about half the size of other Boot Barn stores. The store itself is small, understandable for it's location, but the racks are crammed together very tightly, making it feel more like an overfilled warehouse than a store. Bottom line: if you want belts or shirts, go here.
Update: A few new people, but still the same old Boot Barn. Corporate seems to not know the hours or appearance of their own store. Check photos of this store, I posted a picture of their actual hours hanging in the window.
