On Friday July 19 I brought my family who came all the way from Chile to my daughter ‘s wedding. The first face was a woman with a short and gray hair at the front, seating people. I asked for a table for 6 and she said that she didn’t have a table for 6. I knew they have. I’m being leaving in Jackson for almost 31 years and visiting that place multiple times in my life. Then I asked for a booth and with her annoying face she asked me to seat and wait. They finally seat us. The food was cold, huevos rancheros, no the same from before, the toke a long time to come and they only brought for 5 of us and a simple chicken salad came around 15 minutes late. The next day, Saturday morning, I went back with my daughter newly marriage and her in-laws to have breakfast and asked for a table for 8, same lady, she say she didn’t have a table for 8. I asked if she can get 2 tables together and make 8 and her answer was no again. After that she said that I need it to get back to the line. When she asked me again I explained to her that we already have 4 people seating and if she can give us a table for 8 when she started to screaming at me that she already said no. At that moment I explained to her that when Kelly ( the former owner of the restaurant who died in a sky accident last winter) never treat any customers the way she was treating me. He always said good morning or afternoon with a big smile in her face and accommodate any request from a customer. Oh gosh I miss that man today. A simple petition for a table for 8 turned to be a big issue with this woman who called the manager and the manager who never heard my version of the story kick me out of the restaurant making my daughter and her husband also leaving the restaurant causing a very difficult time splitting family. ( the other family was already ordered breakfast) People, please don’t go to this place if you are a well educated and a good paladar people. , they will treat you with no respect and they will make you feel that you are just bordering them. The food? Bad, not like before. Cold and taste like an old grease. That never happens when Kelly was there. We went to bubbas and another story in where they treat you so nice. Stacey, the waitress, super nice and friendly. Excellent food. Excellent customer service. Try that in steed. There are so many places in town where they treat you like a human, like cowboy coffe, phersephanie.. caffe geneve. Excellent...
Read moreThis restaurant is LOUD!!! I couldn’t hear a person talking across the table! It was so loud it was even difficult to concentrate on the menu. The waitress wasn’t very generous with the coffee ☕️ she topped the cup off once during our visit and it cost $3.25! WTH? Beverages we all know is the way restaurants make their profit and they were so chintzy on the refills. The staff has broken English so there was a language barrier just to be seated. It started off bad and it went downhill from there. This city obviously relies on tourism for their money and they should have a staff with a firm grip on the English language especially here and in Wyoming. I asked for a booth and I saw a dirty booth across the room and the manager or acting like a host, said there’s none available. I said “I am looking at one right now” he said “It will take several minutes to get it ready for you” and I said “I’ll just take a table”. He saw that I was disabled and using a cane and he acted like it didn’t matter. This restaurant clearly needs sensitivity training! I should’ve made a scene but no one would have heard me over the noise in the restaurant even if I yelled! The food was just ok. It was edible but more pricey than it should’ve been. My friend ordered a wrap with chopped bacon in it and guess what? There was NO bacon! What a surprise! He ordered it with chopped bacon! apparently someone dropped the ball here! Lack of communication is clear. Either from the waitress or the cooks. I will never be back here again. The chairs 🪑 that they sat us on had no padding on them and created discomfort in my legs and hips. See photos. Overall it was a terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they enjoy loud restaurants and have buns of steel. Parking was terrible even though I have a handicap placard. People in parking spots here park right in middle of two spots! Why? Someone, anyone,...
Read moreMy partner and I decided to try out this restaurant yesterday morning 5/31/2024. Let me start off by saying that this review would have been 5 stars if not for the hostess up front. I saw firsthand how rude and unprofessional she was towards two different families before turning her sour attitude towards us. I could not understand when she asked for our name and when I politely asked her to repeat herself she yelled at us and gave us the most annoyed look I’ve ever seen. After she took our name there was no “thank you, we will call for you” we just waited at the front and we’re holding up other people from reserving a table because she literally did not say a single word to us she did not even write our name so we didn’t know if we were in the clear, she then just rudely screamed over us for the next family in line to come to the front and rolled her eyes at us. Our server was amazing, I cannot recall her name but she wore glasses and had darker hair. She was very attentive to us and recommended their homemade cinnamon role (highly recommend). As for our food it was good, no complaints. I had the NY strip with eggs and my partner had their D2 plate and we enjoyed every bite. I would cautiously recommend this restaurant for breakfast, it may not seem like a big deal to some but someone acting like they hate their job and have a giant stick up where the sun don’t shine can really ruin...
