My cat had a habit of stepping on my laptop when it was closed. He's a Maine Coon, so he's no small kitty!. I searched for some places to take my computer, wanting to avoid the larger chain repair shops. I found Marc's Computer Repair and found praise and positive reviews. They are not wrong!

Marc did an awesome job and found what most technicians would have overlooked either from laziness or wanting to get more money from me. All my laptop needed was a small extension wire for the screen, all of $16 for the part. A larger company would have charged at least $250 to even crack it open and look at it, and even then would have tried to sell me a graphics card or new screen, despite what I knew to be a connection error.

We ordered the part and Marc called me as soon as he received it and then again when it was installed. He went beyond his normal work hours to finish the job. I also had him do a total wipe for some other software problems I was having and I can't be more happier w/ the performance of my laptop.

I highly recommend Marc for any computer/laptop/tablet repair that you may need. He is more than fair priced and won't try to sell you services that you do not need, In fact, he will do what he can to help save you money.

I have an HP Elitepad 1000 g2 tablet that could not detect my camera after I downloaded Windows 10 major update 1803. I took the tablet to a Microsoft store to see what was up and they removed windows 10 and reinstalled the entire program, but that did not fix the camera. I followed that up with a visit to an authorized HP repair facility (Staples) and finally on line to HP support. All stated that when downloading Windows update the camera driver was lost. They all reinstalled drivers they thought were missing and when that did not work they said I had a hardware problem because the computer gave a error code that stated there was not a camera installed.
