Rosenblum's - The Beaches — Local services in Jacksonville Beach

I brought my husband in to get a tailored shirt made for Father's Day. We live in the mountains of North Carolina and do not have such tailoring services here. Because we were visiting the beach, I knew this was a good opportunity to find a business that would provide tailor-made clothing. First, Fitz, was so friendly and warm on the phone. He made me feel welcome and at ease. Then, when we actually got to the store, everyone was so very nice. While they have a beautiful selection of clothing like Theory and a dress can easily be $300, they weren't snobby or inaccessible. Fitz took great care of my husband and made him feel like a million bucks. I wandered around the women's half of the store. When Cindy asked me if I needed any help, I said that I was just looking around. She didn't press me. After a bit, Cindy pointed out a nicely stocked sale rack. (I do love a sale.) The clothing was 40% off - which is a respectable sale. :) I ended up getting a beautiful skirt. Cindy brought out the tailor. They pinned the skirt, tailored it, and mailed it to me in NC at no additional cost! And then I just received a thank you card for my purchase. I really didn't spend much money there... but they treated me like I did. Soooo.... if you're looking for some nice clothing for work or leisure, Rosenblum's is great. They're friendly and welcoming. So this is more about the product and NOT the store or help.... We recently were in the area and I had forgotten to pack socks. Recommended to Rosenblums by the golf shop at Ponte Vedra Resort. The clerk was most helpful and everyone was very nice and recommended Marcoliani socks. I had even explained that Ive always worn Nordstrom socks and how they always stay up on the calf and dont fall down. I was assured that the Marcoliani would not fall down and would even be better after years of wear. I did try on a pair and they feel good and did stay up for the 10 steps I took in the store. Traveling and being sockless, I bought 4-5 pairs. WELL, I get back to the hotel, shower and change and walk out the door, 50 feet and down a flight of stairs and the socks are at my ankles ! Pull up and go on. Out the car door and into the restaurant, pull up. Eat, leave, back down at my ankles. Now back home, another new pair , the same. See pics. There is a paucity of upscale men's clothing stores in Jacksonville, so if you're looking for a great one, look no further. There's no place like Rosenblum's. When you walk in you're treated like the most important person in Jacksonville. First class service, the employees and owners call you by name, the haberdasher (Fitz) is friendly and seems like he has all the time in the world to sit with you and plan a perfectly fitting outfit.
