I am giving 2 stars after my most recent visit to this particular Kohls. Womens section of store was a hot mess (specifically the CLEARANCE section). Clothes everywhere - floor, draped over other clothes, clothes off hangers and just hanging wherever, clothes on wrong size hangers). Shoe section wasn't much better. Carol, dressing room attendant was downright rude! She RUDELY asked a woman and her daughter if they took all of their stuff with them. The woman said "yes" and Carol AGAIN asked her the same question, RUDELY, emphasizing "ALL/EVERYTHING". The woman, getting a hint of attitude and sass from Carol got a little snippy back and said "yes, I took everything". Carol then proceeds to put the clothes customers didn't want back on the racks. She swiftly and rudely walked past myself and my fiance. The walkway was very narrow, and she didn't look at us, acknowledge us/greet us or say excuse me - just busted through. My fiance (who is the most chill guy EVER) looked at me like...what the heck was THAT. We finished our shopping, and Carol was at one of the registers. I prayed to God, we didn't get her because of our previous "interaction" with her. Thankfully another cashier helped me and when I asked that cashier what Carol's name was (I didn't know her name up until this point), she told me her name. I explained my dissatisfaction with Carol and she advised there was a manager on duty and I could speak with her about it. I noticed the manager was checking customers out, so I didn't want to bother her in the middle of a transaction and left without speaking to her. My receipt suggested I complete a survey so I thought I would detail my latest visit in the survey.
I come to this Kohl's all the time and have never seen an employee act so ugly, so disrespectful and act like they hated their job as much as Carol. I am not sure if she was having a bad day but she should've stayed home with that attitude.
The store should make it a priority to organize the women's sections. The mess made it very difficult or...
Read moreRegina was my checkout person. Honestly, she was a breath of fresh air in experiences in other stores (Not Kohls). She was extremely friendly. I had an issue with the same jacket in two different colors with a price difference marked as over $20 difference. At first I was just like "No, forget it - I dont need it (the more expensive one). I was ready to just leave it and she insisted we go to the rack. The marking on the rack was a bit confusing and she proactively got the manager involved (who was also very kind and saw it was confusing). They agreed that there was an issue. While I was willing to just let it go (though I had really wanted it but willing to just let it go), she took the approach to walk with me to the rack and get it sorted out. I ended up purchasing the blazer under a separate transaction because I had already paid for the other items. She was just very kind and didn't want for me to leave without investigating further. I would normally not fill out surveys but feel strongly she deserves some recognition in how she approached the issue, was very kind and truly wanted her customer to leave 100% fullfilled - even though I was ready to just let it go. Her actions gave Kohls another transaction due to her tenacity and...
Read moreDon’t buy gift cards from here. Brenda and Samantha will not help you if they don’t work. I bought a gift card, it didn’t work so I went back to the store and was told by the manager Brenda to wait 24 hours. When I called the gift card company, it said it wasn’t activated. So I come back two days later, the card is still saying it was never activated. I talk to another manager, Samantha, who said to call my card company and try to get the charge removed. They wouldn’t give me a refund for my purchase, they wouldn’t activate my gift card, and they would not give me a different card. When I talked to Brenda she was immediately defensive and acted like I was crazy, and was very curt with me and not nice until the very end and gave me a very fake “have a nice day” I even asked her “what am I supposed to do if the card still doesn’t work after 24 hours?” And she wouldn’t give me a straight answer. The person who I purchased the gift card from was a new employee, and I totally understand people make mistakes. I was not expecting the manager of the store to treat me like a thief, and a liar, and not help me at all. The second time I came in one of the other employees was being really rude and dismissive to another lady trying to...
