I came recently for a deal I got on Groupon for mani/pedi/reflexology. I was expecially excited about the reflexology part after a long day of work. I sat in the waiting area, no one offered me any refreshments. I waited for a little while, before my nail lady received me. She said "I didn't know you were waiting for me"... really? Why else would I be sitting in the wait area? I was still not offered any refreshments, and at most spas I am, so I was expecting this. The nail lady was very nice and patient. However, my nails are already starting to chip (less than 72 hours later). She answered her cell phone while in the middle of doing my nails, and I find that very unprofessional. Especially because she told whomever she was talking to on her cell she's going to try to get done real fast. That made me think that she's not really taking her time on me. In fact, she only did one coat of polish on my feet. Additionally, the reflexology part was a joke. I called ahead of time to ask about it, and they said it was a 30 minute massage on you feet. The fact that this spa moved from Baymeadows into the mall should have been a red flag. This place was extremely unprofessional from the front desk to to the actual massage therapist. We booked a couples massage and when we arrived on time they were running at least 15-20 minutes behind (and out of wine on a Saturday). They gave us the options of separate rooms which would get us in about 10 minutes sooner supposedly. We agreed and then they scrambled to get there rooms together which was all very hectic and not at all relaxing. I cannot speak for my husbands massage, but mine was awful. The massage therapist literally left me with bruises- not exactly the type of deep tissue I was looking for. After beating me up for 45 minutes or so with no relaxation in sight, she stopped the treatment early asking me if it had been an hour. Really?
