MAC'S Hardware — Local services in Jamestown

At first I was pleased with the service upon first entering and shopping. Granted I did arrive 30 minutes before closing, at 7 minutes to 7:00 pm (closing), the associates began trying to push me out the door AFTER I stacked $220 worth of merchandise on the counter while I continued to shop knowing I still had 10 minutes left on the clock. The first time the associate came around to herd me, he was REALLY sorry but they were getting ready to close. I explained to him that I understand and that I won't be keeping him past 7. The second time(about 30 seconds later) as I "quick shopped" my way to the checkout counter, they approached me and asked if they could help me find something in particular. Once again belittling my ability to tell time by alerting me that the store was closing. I felt compelled to express my ability to read my phone so I let him know I still had 6 minutes before they locked me out. As a business owner I'm assuming he/they weren't management material. Had they been, after seeing me drop over 200 bucks on their counter after being there only 10 minutes and continue to shop, they would have given me every opportunity shy of keeping their doors open past 7 to make ANOTHER employee's daily payroll. Although I felt pretty insulted, I made the purchase anyway. If one (or more) of my employees treated one of my customers like that and compromised my bottom line(and I found out), they wouldn't get a second chance. They have wonderful customer service and they carry such a unique variety of product. the only issue I had is there's nothing a little more for the once in a while Carpenter and like less expensive power tools but they do carry very good quality product plus they allow pets and on a leash if they're friendly I enjoy going there and I will continue to patronize this...
