Went in for fudge and coffee, but got told long stories about his family in storyteller mode (complete with a ghost story book in hand). This is fine, if requested, but it felt way too long winded and I hadn’t had coffee. Didn’t want to pay for K-Cup coffee there, prefer drip. Prices on all items felt too steep, tourist pricing on basics. Cool antiques though!!! The shop went further back than I thought, which was a treat to enjoy. Purchased some jar pickled okra, but didn’t like them. Declined on getting fudge because there was a cockroach inside the fudge case playing peek-a-boo with me. Read moreHmm... how to describe this store? They have a bunch of Confederate sympathizing, fake-Christian propaganda sprinkled around the place, along with obsolete Trump propaganda. Also, rather than simply asking if you'd like to try a sample of their fudge, they're ADAMANT that you sample it. It was ludicrous how pushy they were about this when we visited, despite the fact that they carry antiques and many other products folks may step in to check out. She's rude and treats everyone like they're a criminal.
