Old Mill Antiques is a great place to stop when visiting Jefferson. My daughter in law found a beautiful, amethyst crystal for a very reasonable price. Packed with nostalgia, semi historic (old at least) artifacts and replicas of varying price levels. Great place to find a hidden treasure that suits your fancy. Friendly service. Many stores closed on a certain day of the week in Jefferson. Many closed the day we went, but this one was open. Still good idea to check hours before you attend. We went to the Waterworks Museum next door first, and found both museums interesting and enjoyable. Admission is free to both, with optional donation boxes...

Fantastic store, you have to be careful when you go in because you may have no intention of buying anything and only staying for 20 minutes, but next thing you know you're walking out 3 hours later having spent 200 dollars. You can find the most unique items in here or maybe you will find something that you remember from your childhood. The prices on most items are ridiculously low and the best way to describe it is as a mega garage sale...
