I had a 3:30pm appointment for my daughter to get her nails done on 08/30/24. I called around 11:30am to find out if there was an appointment available with Blanca because of all of her āgreat reviewsā. She in fact was available @ 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:15pm just to find that she was still with another customer. I had no issues waiting for her to finish because I was in no rush and my daughter was excited to get her nails done and I understand that things happen. We were seated on a couch and explored some options and colors together while we waited for her to finish. She was done at exactly 4pm. As my daughter and I sat on the couch I noticed that she walked over to another nail technician and began to talk to her in Spanish. As she spoke to her in Spanish I noticed that she kept looking over at me. I was confused but, I paid no mind to the discussion because I was never addressed. She then proceeded to walk to the podium where a laptop rest with all of the bookings for the day, directly where we were seated. She then asked me if I spoke Spanish which I replied āNoā. She then proceeded to ask me what my daughter was going to have done. I told her. She (time frame 4:15pm) proceeded to tell me that she has another appointment at 5pm. I then proceeded to ask her what was she trying to convey because at that exact moment I knew that she basically did not want to do her nails because she had another appointment at 5pm and she would basically be going into the next appointment slot. I was pissed and very frustrated. However I did not want my daughter to see my frustration because she was already disappointed at that point with Blancaās response. The service and treatment of Blanca was unacceptable and I will not be supporting this business or behavior as a paying customer. I politely said āno problem but it wouldāve been nice to know that she was not going to do her nails almost 45mins agoā. After waiting in the salon almost 45mins and then to find out that she would not be doing her nails was unacceptable. Save yourself the time and effort. I also feel like we were racially profiled due to the fact that we are African American and the salon is located in a predominantly caucasian neighborhood that we actually live in. There was no issue making us wait for 45mins but as soon as she figured she may run over into her next appointment she decided she could not do her nails. If I could give them zero stars I would. The only reason why I gave one was because of the woman who greeted us so kindly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came in to the nail salon early to make an in person appointment for 3pm while I was on my way to work. I got out of work early and decided to stop by to see if they had any availability. They did not so I just wanted some local shops and waited one hour for my 3 PM appointment. Went back to the salon 10 minutes before my appointment and waited for the ladies to finish up. Once it was 3 oāclock they told me it was their lunchtime so I had to wait 15 minutes. While I was waiting I asked them if I could have someone start taking my nails off. The nail tech proceeded to hand me the file and told me I can start taking them off myself, because they are all at lunch. I asked her why they scheduled me an appointment on their lunch break, and she had no response. Finally when they were done with their lunch break they came back and she started continuing to file my nails after I had come pleat Lee filed the color off. I asked her if instead we could soak the rest off, and she said oh well the other lady will have to do that but she still on her lunch break. I proceeded to remind her that they were already late for my appointment and she responded by saying well she has another client shortly after me so she canāt soak my nails and that the other lady would have to do it after sheās done with her lunch. I got up grab my purse and left. This was the worst experience Iāve ever had at a nail salon I will never come here. such poor time management and consideration for their customers time. I do not recommend ever coming...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI asked for a French manicure and I got squiggles on my nails. I appreciate that it's quite hard to do a French but I kinda wish they gave me someone more experienced. They're good with solid colors though. This happened months back b4 Corona btw.
Update multiple years later : while the manicure was beautiful (done by Candy), the service was reprehensible. I was turned away when I came for my previously scheduled appointment and asked to come tomorrow. I had already built my plans with this in mind but there was an awful wait time the next day as well. there was another customer who was facing the same issues who had to wait three hours and was being treated very rudely (they didn't have anyone who could do the service she paid for and she couldn't reschedule). They all just blamed another absent worker who was apparently responsible for the mismatched pricing and scheduling conflicts. They insisted this customer pay an extra 30 and come back tomorrow so she walked out with her toes done and the manager chased after her for almost twenty minutes. I was promised that my French tips design would be 10 when I first came in but they tried to charge me 35 and only reduced it to 25 when I brought up the fact that I was forced to come back. I really liked my manicure and the shape but the service and organizational skills was just so bad that nothing could...
