Waste of money for me. They told me to pick a color without specifying that some were gel and some were regular polish. The nail tech had to remove my previous gel pedi so im not sure why i wasnt asked what kind of pedicure I wanted. When she started and I realized she wasnt doing the gel process I asked if they had gel and she ask “you want gel 😑” in an annoyed way like if i told her yes I would have been doing too much. So then i sat for 25 minutes so they can dry under this little fan that clearly didnt work. But when I was leaving they were quick to give me a full tutorial on how to leave a tip. Where was that energy ensuring I got the nails I wanted? The regular pedi was $35 , that’s ridiculous and a big waste of money to have my nails look like this the second i walk in the house. Which was only 10mins later. So in total I had cute nails for all of 5 minutes. edit i was asked at the front desk if i only wanted a pedicure, not if i wanted a regular pedicure. And no I didn't inquire about which colors were gel or not, so I'm assuming if I had accidentally chosen gel y'all would have just done a gel set and charged me for it without knowing if that's what I actually wanted? Put a sign up that makes it clear which colors are for what, or communicate that when customers are choosing. You guys clearly know how to communicate things that aren't clear because you made sure to let me know how to tip. I wasn't asked if I liked the temperature of my water or if I wanted my massage chair turned on. I'm just saying what makes this regular pedicure worth $35, because it's not the...

Disappointing service. Got the Beaulah gel mani pedi exactly 10 days ago ($120 total, $48 for the mani), . Looked stunning at first. Three days ago I noticed the gel coming off from the bottom of the nail. It was one nail so I told myself there's no need to be dramatic and decided to let it go. Over the past couple days the same thing started happening to the rest of my nails. Attached are pictures of the chips and gel layers coming off. I wanted to give the salon the benefit of the doubt so I called this morning and explained the situation. The nail tech said they have a policy of no fixing after 7 days. I explained that this started within the first week but I didn't call because I was hoping the rest don't continue deteriorating. She kept asking why I didn't call earlier, essentially uno reversing the blame on me, and offered a $5 discount lol. She recommended a new set at the 10 day mark, said that the gels last 10-14 days and that varies depending on weather and work.

I work from home on a laptop, and I have cleaners that do the cleaning so It's not even like I'm elbows deep in water.

It's a shame because they have good color ranges.

Very disappointed and upset. Waste...

Officially found my new go-to nail salon in Jersey City! Finally! I had such a great experience at J Nail & Spa. And I am admittedly very picky. It’s appointment only, which I really appreciate, and is incredibly clean and has such a calming and relaxing vibe. The salon is beautiful and so nicely decorated and taken care of. They’re still following covid precautions - everyone was masked and wore gloves, and since it’s by appointment only, they space the costumers out comfortably. Everyone was super friendly too. As soon as I walked in for my appointment, she greeted me by my name, and this was my first time there. I told her I was hoping for a very light, almost white blue for my gel manicure for my bachelorette party this weekend.. and she actually custom mixed me the most perfect color! I was SO impressed, and not just by how perfect the color turned out but by her taking the time to actually make me a customized color. Most nail salons would never do that. For my actual mani/pedi, I had Fanny do my nails and she was awesome. I love how perfectly my gel manicure came out and I also got the signature pedicure and it was heaven....

Had a really disappointing experience here! Went for my first ever Gel Manicure. The moment i stepped in i was directly taken to a rack and asked to choose the colors. (I mean what? Didnt ask me what design i want..no recommendations what colors would look good) I chose the colors myself..most of the designs i showed they said we cant do. Finally settled on one where there were tiny flowers on ONE Nail. They said each tiny flower will be 5$. Then they said the nailpaint i chose is also 5$ extra. Ended up paying $65 for plain yellow nails with an ugly tiny flower on ONE Nail (Doesnt even look like the one i showed). *Editing this after 3 days* One of the finger’s nailpaint fell off like it were a fake nail (they charged extra for this “High Quality” Nail paint). They said it will last for 3 weeks. Wasted my 65 dollars on this! Rubbish claims
