I had taken a blouse to be altered at the beginning of April for a wedding coming up memorial Day weekend. The tailor told me to come back April 24th to try on the blouse again, and by the time I got there he hadn't even touched the blouse and told me to come back in 2 weeks. So I came to the third time, two weeks before this wedding, and he still hadn't touched my blouse. The worst part was I had no time left before the wedding to even visit Jersey City again, so he saw my frustration and tried to get it done in 20 minutes. He fixed the initial problem, but then the blouse was horribly loose, even worse than before when it was 12 in short and tight. I had heard about him from one of my best friends and this is one of my worst experiences I've ever had, even though they only charged me $20. 1000% will never...

Someone referred me to Deen fashion Haresh bhai. She said Harish Bhai stitches for her home-based boutique and is good. But my experience was bad. I gave my wedding lehenga for alteration a few days before my wedding. He promised he would do the job in time, and he did. But instead of opening each lehenga kali and cutting them, he just added fat folds in the waist and stitched them. That looked so bad. Lehenga had a narrow waistband and then a fat bulge due to scrunched-up fabric.

The worst part is I am not an expert, so I didn't know why it was so weird around the waist. He lied and said that's how lehengas are! My mom explained the issue later.

Do not go here. I ordered, and fully paid for, a sari with an underskirt for a wedding. I was very excited and couldn't wait. Three weeks was not enough time for them to alter my sari, apparently. When I went to pick it up, it was obvious they forgot about it and asked me to come back the next day (a huge inconvenience but I had no choice). The sari was obviously rushed; there are loose threads and sequins everywhere and they forgot my underskirt. So I even paid for something I didn't get.

Oh, and they upped the price of the choli when I tried to buy it a second time even though they quoted me a lower price first. Look at the other reviews -...
