A good amount of the comments are staff members that live on the property, which is why there is a high rating on them.
But, like a few comments said, the floors are very uneven.
My biggest issue is the parking and management.
Parking is not valet parking, and I already have a few scratches on my door. Have ran into a handful of parking issues and I've been moved in for almost 2 weeks. One time I was late to work for 20 minutes due to my car not being brought down. Another time, I called 40 minutes before hand and my car was still up at the top. If you know your schedule (only applies for Monday through Friday), you can let them know what time you need the car, otherwise on the weekends, you have to call down 30 minutes before hand. When it comes to parking your car, they don't lift up the cars enough for you to park your car. Even if it looks like it is enough space, trust me, it's not. The claim that we are suppose to have a garage remote, which I still have yet to receive. I have to either honk my car or wait for someone to open the garage, and sometimes it can take up to 2 minutes.
Apparently there is no management onsite, they have a management office, but all their management is by Exchange Place (this is based upon what one of the staff told us yesterday when we stopped by the so called "Management Office"). They are not very good at responding back to emails and eventually when they respond back, it is rude. They claim that they are not discriminating, but whenever I send an email, they don't respond, it's not until my partner replies back to the email, than do they respond.
As for the appliances: The dishwasher is not that great, even when I run it on heavy-duty mode, the dishes still are not clean. The washer and dryer are small and the washer also stained my clothes, even after trying to wash it a few times, the clothes are still stained.
Windows are not insulated, the apartment is way colder than it is outside.
This is suppose to be a new apartment building, but things tend to look a bit run down. The carpets are already lifting in the hallways. The hallways are also really dirty (there is no cleaning crew/staff that comes to clean the apartment building). The trash room is really dirty and the chute is tiny. Can't even fit an 8-gallon trash bag down the chute. Along with this, it's suppose to be a no-smoking building, but it people smoke in the building and hallways end up smelling like cigarettes.
It's also not a pet friendly building, even though they allow pets. The front desk staff members are afraid of dogs. There is a waste bag holder outside the building, but no waste bags in it. There is no trash bin for you to throw the waste out, and this also includes the dog run.
Stay away from this place and pay a few hundred dollars more to live in...

The so-called “valet parking” is a complete scam. It’s advertised as 24/7, but you have to call 30 minutes in advance just to get your car—and even then, they still can’t get it down from the car stackers half the time. I’ve waited over an hour on multiple occasions. It’s a joke.
The package room is total chaos. There’s no tracking system. They just dump everything in there and leave residents to go on a scavenger hunt. I’ve lost multiple packages—either stolen or vanished entirely.
Front desk staff? Don’t expect basic communication. None of them speak functional English, and it’s clear they just hire family regardless of qualifications. Asking a simple question turns into a game of charades.
The shuttle service is unreliable, especially in the evenings. They post a schedule but rarely follow it. Don’t count on it to get you anywhere on time.
Need help with anything? Good luck. Email support and wait weeks for a reply—if they respond at all. Calling is pointless; no one ever picks up.
The apartment itself? Cheap finishes, uneven floors, and cabinets that literally fall apart. Wildly overpriced for Journal Square. Management is useless—zero accountability, zero urgency, zero care.
Bottom line: just pay a bit more to live somewhere else, especially if you get packages often or own a car. Don’t be fooled by the fake 5-star reviews—they’re clearly written by bots or family members. It’s...
