To everyone who is bored of your life, this is the right place to challenge yourself:)
Their goal is to stand out from the traditional massage industry: To minimize relaxation and maximize anxiety! Pretty fresh right? what a brilliant business idea!
Here is my journey with them: They did not inform me ahead of my appointment that they changed their location from their original store to this construction building, which was noisy and smelly. After rushing for 10mins trying to find this mysterious place, I was told that they can't provide my entire 1 hour session because "I WAS LATE". My approaches are below:
Communicated with them about the location change situation and questioned why there is no announcement or notice. *They responded carelessly that there is nothing they can do I asked to reschedule and was told NO I asked to reach out to their manager and was told their phone can't be reached. *working here must be awesome, sit back and counting dollars. Since I made a decision to never come back. I asked the massager to finish the session. She finished my session 15mins earlier because she misremembered my session time. The staff promised that they will reach out to their manager after the session. Guess what? Never happened!
I have to say this place is very innovative in terms of their business strategy. I hope the $137 that I spent on worthless service will help when they go out of business one day:)

Thank you for taking your precious time to finally acknowledge your customer. The way you address your customer dissatisfaction just proves how arrogant your attitude is towards your customers. We both know I am sharing the facts. Your staff even admitted that they didn't notice the customer regarding location change. Also, nice try on lying about me wanting an extra free session. I NEVER asked your staff to book another session for me. Even you do offer, I'd never come back. I only expressed my frustration with them and they PROMISED to contact the manager and CC me on the email. If you really wanna stay in service industry, I suggest try harder on communication, quality, and employee training, instead of wasting time complaining about customer's complain....
Read moreIâve visited salvation wellness a few times over the years. The price is great and most therapists are trained well and do a good job. However Iâve been observing something every time over the years that Iâve been going. Even if I arrive early to my appointment, the massage doesnât start for 8-10 minutes into my appointment time, and it still ends 1 hour from the scheduled start time. For example, my most recent massage was at 1:30pm. I got there early knowing that they have a tendency to cut into my massage time. They brought me in at 1:28pm. I skipped the chit chat, got in the sheets as quickly as possible, and by the time we started and she was done adjusting my sheet etc it was 1:38pm. The massage still ended at 2:30pm on the dot. And this was despite me trying to skip the formalities and chit chat. In the past I have lost 10+ minutes of massage time. If an interview is needed prior to a massage, it should not be part of the 60 minute massage time. This is standard at any practice. They are likely not giving their therapists an adequate cushion between appointments and the customer is paying for it. I really donât respect this. This was a first but during my most recent massage the therapist was wearing pink latex gloves. She started with a head massage and I asked âare you wearing gloves?â because I could feel the tugging from the latex in my hair and the squeaking. She said she has cuts on her fingers so she has to wear gloves. I donât know whatâs the right thing to do in this situation - ideally they couldâve at least informed me and asked if I want to reschedule. This person should have taken a sick day. Getting a massage with latex gloves on is NOT PLEASANT. On top of that, they donât use warm oil/lotion here. Itâs cold. So the cold lotion was further not warming up because she had gloves on and so it wasnât getting the warmth of the palms of the hand. I was exhausted after a flight from Europe and took what I could get because my only other option wouldâve been to walk out after already being undressed and starting the massage. I really hated my last experience and I canât say that...
Read moreMy husband and I have been loyal customers to salvation wellness since 2021, and I have never experienced poor service until today. I came in Friday morning met with a front desk associate who was cold and extremely unfriendly. I would like to note I have never had this experience before, I am not sure if this person is new but they are certainly not following the culture that I know Salvation Wellness to display.
Followed by my husband massage per his experience it was underwhelming. I paid for a deep tissue massage, the masseuse did not listen to my husband request for more pressure and it felt more as if they were just rubbing instead of massaging, and left him wanting to walk out well before the completion of his 60 minutes. I took my time to do my research on this masseuse and other people left them great reviews. So I am really confused as to why my husband was not deserving of the same service. I know people feel my pain when I say, services are not cheap, so when I pay $200+ for a massage that is met with poor customer service and a poor experience, it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
I am extremely disappointed in the quality of care that we received today and if this is going to be a theme I would suggest people to take their business elsewhere. When asked what type of massage this was, swedish, deep tissue, etc, the receptionists only response was custom, even after when asked to clarify and provide an actual response, just came back with "custom". Cannot begin to state how disappointing the experience was, and perhaps nothing more so than the receptionist and the attitude presented. It is disappointing because after an hour long massage you would like to feel as if something was done, and instead feel as if nothing was done. I know half-assed service when i see it, and it is incredibly frustrating to know I wasted my...
