The Hudson River Waterfront Walkway @ Town Square, Newport, NJ is clearly the best location to view the sunrise over the Manhattan skyline. The view of the skyline is unhindered and across the Hudson.

To access this, drive down Washington Blvd in Newport and turn into Town Square and you will see the walkway. The best spot to get a panoramic view is next to the ‘Water’s Soul’ sculpture ( posted here)

During spring time ( month of May), the earliest of the sunrise hues start from 4.30 am. Advisable to look out for weather predictions prior. The same spot is ideal for viewing the nightlights of...

Visited the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway during sunset, and it was absolutely beautiful. The skyline views, especially of One World Trade Center reflecting the golden light, were stunning. The walkway is peaceful, clean, and perfect for a relaxing stroll or just sitting by the water to enjoy the view. Watching the city light up as the sun went down was such a calming experience. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves great views, photography, or simply unwinding...
