On October 31st me and my significant other went to this location for a repair pickup and this was under his name and he purchased this ring that he got for me so as I was there I sat down on the seat by the window because I was very tired from work , he tells the lady named Jackie (black tall lady that’s bald headed) that he’s here for a pickup repair , she looks up his name and gets the repair she tells my significant other “ she don’t want this ring “ “look at her face “ she kept repeating that I didn’t want the ring in front of employees and costumers , so unprofessional and weird and quite embarrassing, I just ignored what she said honestly because she’s ignorant , so anyway as I was sitting she said “ come over here girl , I gotta see if this fits “ obviously it fits if they checked my size before sending the repair , I went over there and I put it on and she said once more in front of him and me “look at her she don’t want this ring” and I said “how do u know I don’t want this ring “ she said said “y’all can leave we done anyway “ rudely and dismissed us like children like lady I’m grown learn to respect others and keep your mouth shut if you don’t got anything nice to say to people who make your check happen you made him feel so bad and honestly you shouldn’t even be working there McDonald’s is the best place for you with that costumer service , you are selling memories and great gifts here and you want to ruin someone’s day with your nasty remarks !! Don’t worry I reported you , goto anyone else but her her costumer service is trash she...
Read moreWhen me and my wife walked in, we were greeted by the manager but soon found out just how empty that greeting was. When we said we were there to do the routine inspection on my wife's ring, her mood changed and she palmed off on a worker who was already having to deal with an upset customer.
While we waited, the customer's agitation could very loudly heard throughout the store. But did the manager even attempt to step in to de-escalate the situation before it got worse? No. She instead conversed with the other worker who was doing nothing.
Meanwhile, the worker helping the customer seemed overwhelmed, which agitated the customer more. Finally she was able to flag down the lazy manager and rangle her in to get the situation resolved.
Being a manager myself, I find that manager presence often keeps it from getting this bad but the manager here obviously is just here for show as they made ONE single worker do all of the work.
The one shining glimmer was that one worker. Because, when she was finally was able to get to us, she was the most upbeat and friendly person that I've met here. She didn't let the angry customer nor her uncaring manager affect her one bit. She smiled and had great energy. Why she would stay here idk because her talents are surely being wasted and taken advantage of by her lazy peers.
The two stars I even bothered to give are for her and her alone. Everyone else cost...
Read moreLast year I brought my wife's Movado watch for a battery replacement. As always, it took about 1 month to get it back. I received the watch without checking to see if it was working as I was just anxious to get it back since I waited for so long just for a simple battery replacement. Supposedly they send out all repairs to their Galleria office. Anyway, when I got home I noticed the watch was not working. The next day I returned to the store to have them look into the watch again. The manager told me that if the battery was new then it probably needed to be taken apart and cleaned. The estimate I was given was $300. I could not fathom paying that much for repairs if the watch was $500 so the watch stayed in the jewelry box. I recently found an honest watch repair tech and just for kicks I brought my wife's Movado for him to check out. When he analyzed the watch he immediately saw that the coil and contact had been compromised and needed replacement. Apparantley, when Zales tried to change the battery they broke the coil and contact. The Galleria Zales repair center was not honest enough to own up to breaking my wife's Movado and tried to pull a fast one on me. They actually did as it cost me $69 to get the watch repaired. It is a far cry from $300 however. I will never go or do any business with this Zales ever again. It makes me sick thinking that I could have fallen...
