i’m not one to typically complain but I felt compelled to write a review after my experience this evening. upon walking in I was not greeted, which is understandable as it’s 9:30 at night, so I can write that off to workers being tired/anticipating close. one worker was sweeping the floors, which is also fine, but as I walked up to the counter her back was turned towards me and she was sweeping near the front, which blocked me from actually accessing the counter to order. thought it was weird she didn’t notice a customer fully standing behind her waiting to move, but I brushed that off as well. I step around her and see someone making an order on the line, which I assume is an online order, so I wait for her to finish before tending to me. I can rationalize all that occurred so far. what I CAN’T understand is why this same worker abandoned this order she was working on to go stand in the middle of the kitchen and have a meeting/break/gossip session (?) with two of her other coworkers, all while i’m still waiting to order, with two of their backs to me. it wasn’t until I looked up and stared at one of them that they finally remembered they have customers, and one worker walked over to me (unapologetically, might I add)
she finally finishes my order and goes back to the front of the line to take another order, while forgetting my extra side in the middle of the line. I wait to check out, and no one is standing at the cashier. at this point i’m agitated because it seems like everyone is inattentive and forgetting that they’re at their place of work/should be at their stations helping customers out. I have also worked in the fast food industry before, but i’ve been taught that it’s courteous to communicate to your customers if they have to wait for any reason. a simple “we’ll be right with you” “give us one second” “sorry for the wait” hell even proper ACKNOWLEDGMENT would’ve been vastly more appropriate and well-received in that moment.
very unprofessional bunch. customer service training...
Read moreI'm gonna be so real here- I'm done with Chipotle. Normally when I come here, the food is mid and a manager will give me attitude for asking if I can have cilantro. I swore off Chipotle for a while (a little over 6 months) before giving it one last try.
This time around I came at open so the food would be fresh, and to their credit, it was, but the service was some of the worst I've ever received. There was one person ahead of me, and she waited 10 minutes before anybody helped her. There were 5 employees on the clock, including a manager just STANDING AROUND while she and I waited. One guy kept just walking back and forth to grab one spoon at a time and put it into a container in the mobile order area. Again, somehow this took 10 minutes for him to do. Nobody paused what they were doing to help the people in line. Nobody acknowledged us. We just stood there. After being let in. For 10 minutes.
After the lady in front of my finally got their attention, they realized they hadn't grabbed any of the things they needed for the in-person line either, so it took ANOTHER 10 minutes for her burrito to get made before they moved on to me.
After years of bad service and sub-par food, waiting 20 minutes to be served in a two-person line was unacceptable. There are too many other options to keep coming here, especially for the price. It's time for everybody to start frequenting other establishments, and stop rewarding bad food and...
Read moreNot certain what’s going on at this location, the rice is “water logged”, the portions are small, in fact, this location (FM 529 & N SH 6) serves the smallest portions out of the surrounding locations. Servers scoop a heaping spoonful, shake 3/4 out and place 1/2 of the remaining portion in you bowl or tortilla shell. They then follow the same process for beans and fajita vegetables if you ask for them. What’s most disappointing is the portion of protein I received 1/4 scoop! What the heck and when I said something, I was told I’d have to pay for an extra portion. I was dumbfounded, pay extra when I hadn’t received the proper amount the first time. I was charged $3 for a 1/8 scoop of guacamole, it’s only at this location that the portions are much smaller. The servers attitude are the worst, you chose to work in the food industry and at that Chipotle location; don’t take your bad feelings out on customers. When customers call you out for “skimping” on their portions, own it because you are! Customers come to Chipotle expecting to have the same bowl that is being advertised in the commercials. What we need to do is launch a class action lawsuit on false advertisement of product and portions shown on nationwide television commercials.
I do not recommend, travel to 1960 or Barker Cypress if you want value for your hard earned money. I won’t be returning to this...
