I was really excited to see a new neighborhood coffee shop open up in this former Starbucks location and was enjoying going in every now and then over the summer and getting a specialty coffee.
However, on 2 occasions, the coffee was incredibly weak. I felt like I was drinking something that had been filtered down to resemble coffee water, not a latte containing a shot of espresso and did not include a drop of the specialty syrup I requested.
One of those occasions was the last time I was in there, on August 3rd. It was the first time I ordered through the app. I did so an hour before closing, and gave them enough time to get the coffee ready before I got to the location, around 10 minutes - and they were not busy with a long line of customers waiting.
I can forgive my order not being ready, as many companies are choosing to prepare the order when someone arrives. What I can't forgive is that when it finally was (upwards of 5 minutes later), the server slammed the drink down so hard on the table that it splashed onto my dress and onto my hand. I felt it stinging for a couple of hours afterward. And even that, I can forgive, but she didn't acknowledge that she had done anything to cause harm to me, even though she paused just before turning around and walking off and back behind the counter.
I get everyone has bad days, but this in addition to the coffee being weak and not containing the syrup I requested was the last straw.
I haven't been back since and I often consider stopping in, but I can't get past nearly burning someone's hand and then, not...
Read moreWalking into Minuti Coffee, I was greeted not only by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee but also by the vibrant hues of fall decorating every corner. It was my first visit, and I had the pleasure of being served by a wonderfully attentive trainee. Despite it being her first day, her knowledge and enthusiasm in explaining the various drinks and menu items were impressive, making me feel like a regular from the get-go.
The White Mocha I ordered was a delightful treat, perfectly balanced and a testament to the quality that Minuti prides itself on. The ambiance of the café provided the ideal backdrop for relaxation, work, or study, with a touch of tranquility amidst the bustling city life.
Minuti Coffee has undoubtedly earned a new patron in me, standing out as a gem among the generic coffee chains. It's a place where charm and quality coalesce, making it more than just a coffee shop, but a delightful experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for that perfect coffee spot! Cheers to Minuti Coffee, where every sip feels like a celebration of...
Read moreWe have been loyal customers of Minuti Coffee for years. We've been frequently visiting locations in Sugar Land, Katy, Richmond, and Houston. Their staff in these locations has been nice and welcoming. However, the experience on the morning of 8/31 at this location was disappointing. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. The two employees working during that shift were unprofessional and racist. The lady who took our orders named Joselyn A (shown on the receipt), did not greet us or offer any help with the menu.
I would not consider it as unprofessional and racist, it might have just been a rough day for them. But as we sat down, every other customer who walked in after us was greeted. This clear difference in treatment made us feel uncomfortable and wanted to leave right immediately.
We suggest that the staff at this location can receive proper training to ensure every customer is treated with equal respect.
We won't be returning to...
