Chip's Candy Factory — Local services in Kansas City

If I could I would get a negative 10 stars. They are price gauging literally over candy. I been coming to thus store since I was a kid. You had to get alot of candy to be pricey. Literally not all my kids were with me. We got our normal amount of candy in each bag, which always came up to $30-35. & I was charged $50-$60 dollars. Nothing I had was worth worth it. Literally stood right outside the store out my money in my purse. Came back in & asked for a refund or to return 1 or 2 bags. I was standing right at the store & walked right back in. I was treated unfair & even got the security called. The security even stated if I could have my money returned to me, because I was unsatisfied with my purchase. The workers there are rude & disrespectful. The lady with the red gaur & glasses is rude & aggressive. If I was white I would have gotten a refund for my while purchase & an Apology. All she had to do was give me my money back as I stated. Y'all are over charging people for candy. Bags that should be $5 y'all are charging double that. I bet alot of y'all customers want ever...

We had a wonderful time touring the chocolate factory and my grandchildren loved the candy store. The only problem I had was that my 5 year old granddaughter was excited and she went to grab some Dum Dum suckers out of the bin and the employer working there screamed so loud that it literally scared me to death and I know it scared my granddaughter! She yelled “Don’t use your bare hands!” I literally jumped and it really ticked me off! I understand not using bare hands for things not wrapped but these were wrapped. She was extremely rude and continued to stare us down the whole time. There was no need to scream like that! I’m not sure where customer service has gone anymore. But we did end up spending a pretty good chunk of money and if we go again, I’ll be on the lookout for the crazy lady that...

Took my grandson to this store yesterday. I liked the store and the employees we encountered but when I got home was very miffed because we were not given the kind of fudge we requested. I had originally ordered 2 different kinds of the fudge and the additional special of cookies and cream slab for $3.00 more. I was told they were running a special 2 for 1 so I ordered 2 additional kinds of fudge and the additional $3.00 slab of cookies and cream. When we got home I found that we did not get 2 of the different kinds of fudge that we had ordered (in particular the one my grandson wanted) and instead this was replaced with two cookies and cream with no ($3.00)special piece.
