Unfortunately, I/we were a bit disappointed by this candy store. I have been to some candy stores that were unforgettable, and this just was not one of them. Upon arrival, walking through the door the first items in sight were playing cards and games. There is so much unused and poorly used space in there, the potential for greatness is present, but never pursued it seems. The sugar-free selection was rather scant, the selection for a candy store was minimal, and the prices were high. It does not help matters that we purchased an assorted of taffy and everyone I was with decided that none of it really tasted good. There is not anything wrong with the place, it is just not what I expect from a dedicated candy store.

Stopped here after the Steamboat Arabia Museum, and it is a nice place! They have all kinds of candy and unique items there; things that bring you back to your childhood if you are a '90s/early 2000s baby. They have a huge selection of your typical candy, but also candy that is hard to find in grocery stores. Thye also have a giant dragon made from jellybeans, which is neat.

Has some vintage products. That Batman pez are so cool to see again. There is a souvenirs spoon to remember my fun trip to Missouri. Very cool candy store and some display. We felt welcomed by the store employees when walked in.

I discovered this wonderful candy store and gift shop about seven months ago. Salt water taffy is one of my favorite things in the world and theirs is the best. Right now they have about 75 flavors but they said sometime this month they’re getting about 25 more flavors!!! The store is wonderful!! The two men who own it are so incredibly nice and will go out of their way to help you no matter what. I love the gift shop side as well. I found out that most of their gifts and clothing are specially made for their shop so they truly are one of a kind. My favorite are the sweatshirts and t-shirts with the big compass on the front. One of the owners told me that the compass on the shirts is the latitude and longitude of Kansas City. How awesome is that?? They know me by name and are always there to greet me with a friendly smile. They also sell specialty local sodas. You can buy a 4 pack or they keep them cold in a refrigerator if you are wanting to drink one right away. I used to work at another shop in the River Market and had gone in earlier that day because I was craving the buttered popcorn taffy. They were out so I made due with the other 74 flavors😂. A little while later I arrived back to the store I was working in only to find about a half of a pound of my buttered popcorn taffy waiting on the counter for me. That was so sweet(literally) of them. They must’ve gotten a shipment in or something but I definitely got my fix for the day. Thanks to the owners for working so hard to bring back nostalgic memories with the candy they carry and just an overall amazing experience every time I go in their store. It’s truly a treasure in...

I loved this Candy store! I think everything is fairly priced, especially the international candy’s. it’s extremely organized and well thought out yes you do pay slightly more for typical candies than you would at let’s say walmart but they have a great selection. they have candy’s from all cultures and all over the world. the workers are very sweet and personable. The salt water taffy’s are really good and i love the selection and how you can pick your own. 11.99 a pound is a great deal for a high quality taffy. and you can get alot of taffy for a pound. it was a wonderful experience and i will...
