I enjoyed my first shopping trip here, very much. It's quite a mix if various unique and regular household items. I found some unusual planter pots labeled From Portugal, and some basic dish racks for the cabinet, but in a great shade of aqua. Some isles have shelves of such varied stacks of things that you have to have time to spend searching through them, if you really want to see everything. I went for couch pillows. I had a specific color and a few ideas of patterns I wanted. There were plenty to choose from and I found just what I hoped to find. I found prices quite reasonable, when I searched for the best deals, in each section. I bought everything on my shopping list, as well as a few extras, and still came out under budget. A bonus treat are the unique candies at the check out. I could not help myself and went home with blue cotton candy, which made me happy. Used to love this store, but as of this year I cannot even shop there because the shopping experience has become terrible. This is due to excessive merchandise piled up to the point that you cannot even look at or get to anything. The employees are all overwhelmed and stressed-out because they are expected to put out new stock which there is absolutely no room for. Lots of merchandise is broken and damaged, no doubt from being knocked off of the over-crammed shelves. I’m not sure if there is new management ordering too much merchandise or what has happened, but it’s sad because this used to be one of the most pleasant stores to shop. This is one of my absolute favorite stores. Never the same thing twice. Always fair prices, most of the time . I guess the things are a little exotic they can afford to make them a little high.. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because when I had to use the restroom, the toilets in the stalls were filthy. And I don't mean just from not getting cleaned recently. There was scum marks and dry scale running down the insides of the toilet which is indicative they have not been clean thoroughly each and every time staff is in there. Boo boo to you homegoods.
