We have been eating at Red Lobster at Columbia Center since it opened that's a long time we generally have good service good food but I have a health condition that's very serious and cannot have any spicy food I ordered a meal instead of doing everything separate because they're low on servers they're very slow they weren't very busy and we had to wait quite a while even to be seated so I thought it it would be easier if I ordered a platter that they make and just ask for the spicy sauce not to be put on it it was salmon with shrimp and broccoli and a baked potato well we waited quite a while for a food we were done with our appetizers Drinker water our tea was almost gone people that came in after us got their food served to them and we were still sitting there our food finally comes and they drenched my salmon and shrimp with the spicy sauce it's a butter kind of like a Cajun sauce which I specifically several times said no spice no sauce please she even went in the kitchen and asked if I ordered that plate that they could hold the spicy sauce but they didn't so I had to ask for another play put my salmon on that plate take a napkin off the biscuits and blot and wipe all the spice off of the salmon which it was still spicy but I was hungry and so I ate it I could not eat my shrimp at all so I gave it to my husband and also good grief people light on the salt the broccoli tasted like salt too much salt on that broccoli all you need is a smidgen if you know what that means so yeah I wasn't happy with my meal today at all I mean really it you know but I did what you know everybody does we try not to complain too much try to be understanding you're low on staff and so on she did comp our ticket $10 but that was the tip too you know 15% tip so it went right back...

The service was attentive and prompt, with our server checking in just the right amount—not too often, but enough to make us feel taken care of, answering all the questions about food, though taking some time to deliver it. The menu, full of tempting seafood options, offers something for everyone, whether you’re a seafood lover or just dipping your toes into the ocean of flavors.
One of the highlights of the visit was the freshness of the seafood. It’s clear that Red Lobster takes pride in sourcing quality ingredients. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dishes were prepared with care. We especially appreciated the generous portions, which left us completely satisfied without feeling overwhelmed. My husband is a fan of your crispy Brussel sprouts and I was in love with the generous amount of seafood 🦞 on top of my linguine.
The overall experience was enjoyable, from the cozy ambiance to the satisfying meal. Red Lobster is an excellent choice for a casual seafood dinner with family or friends, offering a consistent and reliable dining experience. If you’re looking for a place where you can enjoy a hearty meal in a relaxed setting, Red Lobster is a great option that won’t disappoint.
‼️the thing which is not nice : white spots from water on utensils is not appropriate in a restaurant. I came from another country, where I never met such a sloppy attitude toward the cleanliness in general. I guess it’s okay for Americans, as I see it everywhere and no one complains, but I can’t help...
Read moreDecided to make reservations and go out to eat on Christmas for the first time. Service was very slow which we were warned about but it took at least 45 minutes from the time we ordered food until we got it which seemed excessive considering they weren't taking any more customers and the restaurant was emptying out. Here are my complaints... first, they removed my favorite item off the menu which has been on the menu forever! The shrimp linguini alfredo is no longer an option by itself but they still offer it as an option if you choose the pick your own way meal. So I was able to pick it as my two options and then they just combined it and made one dish. My main issue is that they changed the shrimp in it and they are much larger now which I don't care for but they also had the tails on them still which meant that I had to involve my hands in a pasta dish!! This is not okay, tails should be removed when shrimp are part of a pasta dish, what a mess! My second issue wasn't realized until the next day when I was looking over my itemized receipt and noticed that they charged me for each of the refills my daughter got on her lemonade! My issue is that they never once told us the refills weren't free on that drink and just kept bringing more of them without asking! She would have switched drinks if she had known that because she said it was the worst strawberry lemonade she's ever had! She had three refills and ultimately her lemonade costs us almost $20!! Meals used to come with a salad, now they charge you extra for them!Biscuits were not fresh...Sadly, a long time loved restaurant just seems to be going downhill more and more every time...
