I went to redeem a voucher for a totem pole keychain for $2.99 on a recent cruise. Upon arrival, I was ready to check out and ended up asking an employee to assist us with the checking out process. The woman tasked with assisting was clearly not eager to help and would not say much to us. When it came time to present our voucher, she straight up told me she could not honor the voucher due to “credit card fees”. She was incredibly rude during our entire encounter and once she realized we were with a cruise line, did not seem interested in our purchase. Mind you, this was not a free item and it became clear she was wanting us to buy even more things on top of what we already had picked out. Seeing as our business was not appreciated, we went elsewhere.

We then went to another Julie’s just down the road from the current location and was able to redeem our voucher there. We spoke to the employee at the second store who told us the voucher should have been honored and the credit card fee isn’t an issue. This store accepted our voucher without any issues and we even bought extra things from this location because of the improved customer service at this second location.

I don’t know what the employee’s issue was with us at the first location, but she was rude and standoffish with us before we even interacted with her. If we ever visit this area again, I certainly will not be visiting a...

Just wanted you to know that we blew it. We spent some time in your store on our Radiance of the Seas cruise in May. We met Julie! We looked at beautiful pieces of Oracal including a men's ring. You offered us a reasonable price on the ring and another piece of Oracal for my wife with no pressure, just a reasonable sale. Unfortunately, we left your store - it was our first stop - and walked down the street where we were sold (held) for 2 hours until we purchased Oracal from your competitor Soaring Eagle. What a mistake! We are now in a financial struggle and they are unfeeling and unhearing. I'm not sure you would be either, but, you didn't press the sale in a heavy handed pressure sale. Bought a gorgeous solid gold korite amolite whale pendant from Julie's shop. I was on a cruise and wanted a whale pendant. The pendant I bought is solid 14 carat gold with amolite on the front, the reverse has gold nuggets, it is truly gorgeous. Well made and presented. I was wearing the pendant when I went into a jewellery shop in Vancouver to look at their offerings of korite amolite, the shop keeper said 'wow where did you get that, I have never seen anything like that before', he called over another employee to also look at my pendant.
