American Legion Post 28 — Local services in Key West

Jessica the bar manager and Mike were SUPER helpful and awesome! I rented the event space upstairs for a private event. So grateful for this private venue space. Being a local it is hard to afford our own town anymore many of the spaces are targeted to tourism and are super expensive. So we have not been able to rent a space for a private event only have had to use public spaces before, but with the summer heat it was great to have an indoor space! They were super down to earth and kind and I cannot thank them enough and anyone involved in us using this space. My daughter is the granddaughter of a long line of veterans (many of whom have passed away) I was proud to be able to celebrate her day in a space her late grandfather use to patron in many years ago. Awesome place my favorite spot friendly bartenders and customer's. The food is off the charts and good drink prices . Tuesday is Bingo fun watching Friday is Karaoke love the singing and dancing. They also rent out the Tiki and upstairs for event's the customer's are having. I don't remember what nights but Cuban dancing twice a week. They have a car wash raising money for a variety of things. A must see spot always something going on. The best spot for me is the outside Tiki love that it's peaceful. 5 star from me all the way...

Great place to come have a beer get to meet many of the veterans who live to area. Many even retired from the base in Key West. Nice bar,good beer prices. I spent a few Thanksgiving dinners here with some of my veteran friends here. Never a negative feeling here from anyone. Not a place you can see from the main hwy, so you'll have to ask someone here to get here. Some of the guys play a round of golf on the course next door to here then stop in for...
