My wife and I had an awesome day with Kody and Jared. Personally, I thought they both did a great job. Kody is pretty quiet and Jared is kind of a wacky guy. We thought they worked together and balanced out quite well. It was a great way to spend my 50th b-day. Firing up stick figure on are way out was just perfect for the experience. Kody’s question “Do you like sharks?” still cracks my up. The electric reel setup was super sweet too! Landing the Tuna the sharks were eating off my hook would have been perfect, but oh well caught lots of other fish. Do you mind sending me dates that work best for pelagics? I have fished my whole life, fished with guides from the Bahamas to Venice Louisiana as well as running my own boat and I have to say Capt Kody is the hardest working, most humble and down to earth professional I have ever fished with. He took the time and effort to catch Bait, which was not easy. It was a windy and rough day but we killed it, and we killed it because this guy knows what he’s doing and he gets it done. A true professional and hard core fisherman and myself and my kids had a trip of a lifetime. I’ve been fishing with one of the captains through Reel Guides for a while now and I’m confident I’ll be a lifetime customer. They’re always accommodating to family and friends and we always come home with great memories, pictures and a diverse kill box. A couple of my favorite things that you don’t find in all guides are 1) it doesn’t feel like they’re watching the clock waiting to get back to the dock and 2) they want to catch just as much as you do. They’re also great with customers of all different levels.
