I recently went on a Eva Maria Fishing private charter with Captain James and 1st Mate Darren, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. It was my First time Deep Sea Fishing, So I was nervous, but Darren was extremely patient and made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire trip.

The Captain knew all the best spots to fish and was able to help us reel in some impressive catches. Darren was always there to assist with baiting hooks, untangling lines, and providing valuable tips and guidance. The lines were always in water. We caught 5 Mahi and 2 Barracuda. Also a few more Mahis but they weren't ready for the plate!

Our family (kids age 8 and 11) enjoyed a 4 hour charter with Captain James and Darren. Both Captain and Darren were so family friendly! On the way out to sea, Captain explained all of the equipment to the kids and even let them drive the boat for a photo op! Once we started fishing, Darren was a pro! He explained everything to the kids and was so patient with them! Having the air conditioned cabin and head available was a perfect addition with a family. We caught so many mahi mahi as well as a couple barracuda. Darren cleaned our fish after our trip and introduced us to the marina tarpon! What an experience!
