Ahoy there matey! If you're looking to catch your first Tarpon, then Captain Chad is your man (or should I say, your captain)! This guy knows his way around the waters like a fish knows its fins. He's the kind of captain who can make even the most landlocked lads feel like salty seadogs.
From the moment you step on board, Captain Chad will regale you with tales of ocean adventure that would make Hemingway himself blush. He'll teach you the art of casting like a pro, and before you know it, you'll be hooking Tarpon left, right, and center.
But be warned, this is no easy feat! Tarpon are fierce fighters, and they'll put up a fight like a toddler in a toy store. But fear not, for Captain Chad will be by your side every step of the way, offering words of encouragement and a steady hand to guide you through the rough waters.
And if you do manage to land your first Tarpon, prepare to be amazed! These fish are bigger than your average house cat and put up a fight like a heavyweight boxer. But with Captain Chad's expertise, you'll be reeling in these bad boys like a pro in no time.
So, if you're ready for an adventure of a lifetime and want to catch your first Tarpon, then Captain Chad is your guy. Just don't forget to bring your sea legs and a good sense of humor, because with Captain Chad, you're in for one...
Read moreAbsolute Blast. I have chartered many fishing trips over the years and this rates as one of the best. As with any fishing trip your goal is to catch fish, especially when your family is with you, and that we did. We were able to catch some Jacks (3), Snapper (2), Lemon Shark (4), and a Nurse Shark. My main goal was to hook a Tarpon. I have been skunked before on a couple of trips trying to find them and I thought it was going to happen again. Captain Chad pulled up to a hole where he said sometimes a few will be sitting and he was right. We dropped the bait and 45 seconds later I was hooked up. Not the biggest fish, but a 50lb tarpon is no joke. These fish are powerful and acrobats when they come out of the water. I will definitely be coming back. Captain Chad, thanks for a great day. Oh, almost forgot...Capt Chad suggested we keep the Jacks and Snapper and have lunch at the Marina. They will cook your catch. That was the best meal of our trip...
Read moreWe booked two consecutive full days with Chad in an effort to check tarpon off the bucket list. Our first day was tough, with zero tarpon. We weren't the only ones, as three other charters got skunked that day. I say that to say, it wasn't Chad's fault the fish weren't biting. It's not called catching. We spent the second half of the day catching barracuda and sharks. Our second day was completely different. We got in the tarpon right off the rip! And stayed in them for hours. We went 5 for 7 and hooked a massive one that fought us for an hour. We also put a 10 lb mutton snapper in the boat. I can't say enough about Chad's relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction. He is a great captain and I highly recommend you give him an opportunity to put you on...
