My wife and I headed down to Key West for a little R&R with some friends in late June. We were all in need of some retail therapy (watch/jewelry shopping) after the loss of a very close friend and our beloved family dog. Prior to the trip I had researched watch AD’s and jewelers in the area and found Bliss Jewelers along with a couple others. Based on my search I was optimistic but wasn’t really expecting to find any pieces worthy of plunking down my hard earned $$$. Boy was I wrong! Headed over to Bliss after breakfast on our fifth day and was pleasantly surprised when I walked in.
The adventure started when Andrew and the store manager Peter pleasantly greeted us and started our 4 hour journey into watch “Bliss”. They had full product lines from Omega, Breitling, Tag, Rado, Longines, Tissot, Shinola, Bulova, Hamilton, and Movado on display and ready to be purchased. So basically, something for everyone at all price points. It was clear after our intro that Andrew was a true WIS in every sense of the word. I always get a little anxious going watch shopping but he made the experience painless and extremely enjoyable. No high pressure sales tactics here, just a few friends discussing the latest and greatest that Omega & Breitling had to offer over a couple of rum and cokes! I was initially interested in purchasing my first Breitling but my friend had commandeered the counter and was clearly going down the rabbit hole with the store manager Peter. That left all the Omega’s for my perusal, which is fine by me since I really love the brand and have a few at home. Unfortunately, no Ed White or Snoopy but I loved trying on the other Speedy Pro’s, including the gold Moonshine, both Hesalite and Sapphire, and Moonphase models. Then Andrew threw me a curve ball. He brought out 2 PO Ultra Deeps that they had just received. One with a white dial and the other with a gradient blue to black dial. Always thought the PO line was beautiful in pictures but to see the Ultra Deep outside in the sunlight, all I can say is WOW! Omega hit this offering out of the park. That said, I didn’t get my first Breitling but I did get a grail watch in the Ultra Deep with the blue to black gradient dial. After a week on the wrist I can say the watch rivals anything I have from Rolex in regards to fit, finish, and accuracy, which has been perfect; not gaining or losing any time over the last week.
Lastly, I want to thank Andrew and team (Peter & Charlie) who made my visit a pure pleasure. You guys clearly love what you do and it shows in how you treated me and my friends. Yes, we did buy a couple of watches but I observed your interaction with other clients while our watches were being sized and you had the same vigor and professionalism with everyone. I truly appreciate your great service and look forward to purchasing from you in the future.

After giving my deposit 3/18/21 which gave the go ahead to order and secure my setting I was given a two week turn around time. It came in 4/6/21 completely wrong. I was told it may not now come in the two week window of time that was originally promised even though he admitted his guys “messed up”. I was told today after I went in person after not even a curtesy phone call that it would be here Thursday/Friday 16-17 days in the second time around. Also the setting that was quoted and therefore the wrong one they sent had an extreme differences in size of diamonds almost like flakes so please keep an eye on what you truly get from these new in town “jewelers” I unfortunately planned the engagement that now is completely ruined because I Couldn’t keep moving the proposal date. Very rudely brushed me off with his hands to his associate saying “just get him back his deposit”. Read moreWe have been going back to Bliss Jewelry for many years now for all our jewelry purchases. There customer service and personable associates are always top notch. We have only been to the St. Thomas store in person but I hope to visit their other stores and except nothing but the best when I do, because of the experience they have given in St. Thomas every time we have visited.
I had to reach out to the Key West store due to a problem with some earrings we had purchased in St. Thomas during a recent cruise. We sent them to be fixed in Key West instead of sending them back to St. Thomas. After getting the run around for far too long and this happy customer getting frustrated very quickly, I was able to speak to the manager Peter at the store in Key West. He did not know anything about the earrings but got back to me within the same day to tell me he had found them and would be sending back the earrings within 48 hours.
