Bruschetta Francesca — Restaurant in Key West

Our dinner at Bruschetta Francesca was wonderfully delicious. After we were seated and introduced to our kind and charismatic server, we soaked in the lovely, vibrant atmosphere and the classic Italian dinner music. Our mouths watered over the scents of garlic, basil, tomatoes and marsala wine sauce swirling around us. We immediately felt happy to be there. We watched beautiful plates of pasta, seafood and salads being served, and we were blown away by the extensive menu of specialty dishes. We were first served a tasting plate of Francesca's fresh Bruschetta, which was the perfect starter to both whet our appetites and give us a taste of what kind of treats we were in for! My husband ordered the lasagna, and it was, we both felt, the best we'd ever had. Francesca's sauce is out of this word delicious, and the ingredients are top quality, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It is right up there with my late Sicilian grandmother's best-of-the-best marinara and Bolognese sauces. I was blown away by the Eggplant Parmigiana, which is typically my favorite Italian dish. It melted in my mouth! Again, it is quite possibly the best I've ever had. Ever. I find myself craving it, often, and will be coming back for more very soon :). I ordered the chilled house muscato for "dessert" and it couldn't have tasted more refreshing. It was smooth and crisp, with the perfect balance of sweetness. We are looking forward to our next visit. Francesca Bruschetta hits it right out of the park on every level: Food, service, atmosphere... and we are SO happy that...

I am an Italian-American, Jersey girl living in Key West. And Bruschetta Francesca is a true taste of Italy & Sicily. This is my one and only Italian spot on the island.

Some of my favorites are the Calarmari Fritti-the breading is perfection, seasoned lightly. The tomatoes in the bruschetta have the most divine flavor.

I’ve also had a few different sauces; my favorite dish and sauce is the classic Gnocchi alla Sorrentina. It hits all the flavor notes. And you know, sauce is either great or not! And the texture of the gnocchi is wonderful.

They also have a fabulous wine list; including wine from Sicily that are divine! And to top it all off, their homemade Tiramisu is absolutely delicious.

What I love here is that the flavors in all their dishes are of true Italian cuisine. And they use fresh pasta. And when you are here, the owner Francesca is so welcoming and treats you like she’s been expecting you. I just love that feeling.

I also want to include that the pricing review I provided is based on a complete meal and then some-3 apps, a couple glasses of wine, beverages, two dinners and a dessert. This restaurant is surely, fairly priced.

The staff are also super friendly and attentive, with such a pleasant attitude. Our server Giorgia was absolutely wonderful in every way-friendly, knowledgeable on the menu, attentive and just a great attitude overall. Thank you Giorgia for such a wonderful evening.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bruschetta Restaurant in Key West, and it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment I walked in, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home.

To start, I enjoyed the bruschetta, which was a delightful combination of fresh ingredients and robust flavors. The bread was perfectly toasted, topped with generous portions of tomatoes, cheese, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze, making each bite a perfect blend of crunch and taste.

The highlight of my meal was the Spaghetti Pescatore. The pasta was cooked to perfection, mingling seamlessly with the fresh seafood that included shrimp, clams, and mussels. The dish was seasoned just right, allowing the natural flavors of the seafood to shine through, complemented by a light sauce that tied everything together beautifully.

To wash down the meal, I opted for the traditional Birra Moretti beer. This authentic Italian lager was the perfect accompaniment to the flavorful dishes, offering a crisp and refreshing contrast to the rich and savory food.

Adding to the wonderful dining experience was our server, Alex. He was attentive and made sure our table had everything we needed, enhancing the overall enjoyment of our visit.
