The boat was packed pretty tight and everyone had just settled into their seats and stowed away their gear. The water was on the rough side and the boat was pitchy. Captain R said that he was going to share safety instruction of anyone couldn't hear to come closer. A woman seated near the back asked if he could possibly speak up. He totally went off about how he "wasnt going to do this today" and that if mature people wanted to step forward and listen to the directions that would be great and pretty much insulted anyone else. She was not rude, she was not obnoxious. She simply asked him to speak up so that she could hear safety instructions. His rant left everyone pretty much speechless and the remainder of the trip was pretty tense. He stated that he had done lots of tours including for photographers from National Geographic and never had a complaint before. Ok.

At first I chalked it up to maybe he was having a rough day. But I noticed for the remainder of the trip that several of the staff members were condescending to people. The staff member shown in the photograph was not. He was great. Several of the others were rude and condescending to customers.

The weather was rough so for safety we could not to go snorkeling where we were originally intended to. No biggie. No one can control the weather. When we got there one of the staff members said we could go down stairs or jump off the side. He proceeded to jump in and came up sputtering about how it was freezing cold, the coldest day of the year, on and on about how cold it was but we were lucky because we could rent a wetsuit if we wanted. I'm one of the biggest wimps there is when it comes to temperature. It was cool but not too cold. I really think that was an effort to rent suits. I suppose that is their job but just keep that in mind before you shell out money to rent a suit that you may not need!

One crew member vaped during the event. Maybe that's not against the rules but it seemed kind of odd to me.

There were several older people, it was windy, and also people who primary language was not English. When people ask remembers questions one-on-one the crew quickly pointed out that they had already been explained or flat-out asked people if they were not listening. They would give people the answers but after first embarrassing them.

Like I said, maybe they were just having a rough day. But if you've reached a point in your life where you can only get through the day by being condescending to customers because you find everyone irritating it might be time to consider taking a little break from customer service.

I gave it three stars because we are out in the sun and the wind and the other customers were great. Boat was crowded, crew was rude, snorkeling was "meh" but that was due to the...

We have to rate this company a zero star . We had a group of 6 booked for a snorkeling trip on 11/28/24 , starting at 4 pm. We arrived at the counter at 3:30 pm and filled out the waiver and all the paperwork and were waiting to board the boat and we were told to wait at the meeting point and someone will come and get us . We waited there for 30 minutes and asked the person at the counter, who handed us the tickets 4 times , where the boat is and he kept saying just wait here and they will come and get you . Finally when someone else came to get the parasailing group ,we asked him about the snorkeling boat and he said you should go to that boat now because he is about to leave and we ran to the boat only to find that the boat left without 2 groups who were standing at the meeting spot for 30 minutes listening to the person at the counter telling us to wait there and they will come and get you. This is an absolute disappointment for a group of 6 of us including 2 kids who were eager to do snorkeling for the first time in their life waiting all day , just for this activity. This is totally unacceptable for the person at the counter to give totally misleading information , to the out of state group , who unfortunately have to take a flight the next day . A simple refund do not justify the disappointment we felt, seeing the boat leave without us after waiting at the meeting point for 30 minutes ,after we repeatedly asked the person at the counter 4 times for simple instructions to board the boat...

On a normal day this probably would have been a very good adventure to take. However, today was not the greatest experience. First we were disappointed to get a text saying we wouldn’t be going to the barrier reef due to high winds. This is very understandable and glad they made this decision for our safety, but still upsetting none the less. The biggest issue we had was that after sitting and waiting to leave for awhile on a very peaceful quiet catamaran, about 100 loud and obnoxious children hopped aboard. I’m all for kids enjoying nature and learning about the reef systems, but this was a field trip. I felt like I paid the full price just to join a field trip. I was bothered multiple times by adults in their group who were acting like we were part of their group. Some old lady yelled at me (26 years old) not to put my fins on when u was about to jump off the deck. And had multiple people in the group yell at me while I was in the water to come closer or for my husband when we were not in their group. We are on our honeymoon and we really just wanted a nice relaxing day which the reviews boasted about, and why we picked this company to go with. I understand that any sailing would have kids aboard, but this was more than 50% of the passengers. The kids were loud most of the time and the only peace we had was drinking mimosas on the way back.

I will say that the staff aboard were extremely nice and helpful. They made a bad situation a...

One the most incredible experiences in my life. Wish we got closer the actual reef itself but we stayed in roughly 12ft of water. Visibility was incredible. Was able to see fish of all colors including parrotfish, yellowtail snapper, filefish, barracuda, angelfish, grouper, and damselfish. I felt very safe and was able to dive down and get closer to some of the coral structures. Snorkeling itself was only an hour and that was enough time. Had I not been required to wear an emergency inflatable life vest I would have wanted to swim more, but it was chafing the front of my armpits significantly and I had enough when they called us back in. I would prefer a more exclusive snorkeling experience for around $150-$175/person up to 8 people or so for more time instead of the $60/person with 80 people plus bottomless margaritas. I did ask the crew if they had something like that and they said they don't advertise it as a package but would be able to work something out over the phone. They gave a ball park of what it would cost of $1,000+ for a more exclusive snorkeling adventure as well as a "double-dip adventure" with roughly 50 people for $80. I will be returning to Key West to do more snorkeling with Fury in the future.
