I was getting rid of a couple of items a few days ago at the Stone Dr store in Kingsport .When I was approached from a sales lady with a unique look with a very a bad attitude. I was saling a pair of leather women's boots an a pair of mens, blue jeans .She gave me a price for the boots an I accepted with no problem an I ask what about the jeans,an she said let me check .They were brand new, jeans with tags folded neatly .When she gave me a price I said no I'll keep them an she just slung the jeans,at me an turned an walked off an I said they were folded when I gave them to you an could you fold them an give them back .The unique looking girl said this is my store an if you don't like it do not sale, stuff in my store again...Very said because I had did anything wrong ,well I picked the jeans up an walked out an they were 3 other people also walked out too.As I was outside they felt bad the way I was treated an so I thought my dad, said to me once,if your good to someone maybe one will here about it an if your bad they will be numourous hear about it . So I've made a 1000 copies on the way I was treated an I've got help with gas an more copies that will be pasted from kingsport to Bristol to Johnson City to Greenville I'm sorry but treat others the way you want to be treated an if the web slows I've got my friends on ever web site possible .Sorry hunnie you should have just folded my jeans .An if I was in your store an just threw clothes everywhere would that be nice,of me na cause my mother n law has been at bell for 31yrs an I feel for people that not fold back cause she spends several hrs...
Read moreThis place is awesome and apparently ppl here are dissatisfied w/something so, they go on about "the girl w/tattoos all over." I've been to many Plato's and that young lady w/the multiple tattoos stands out because she was one that was exceptionally nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Her style is fabulous and they are more likely to have various styles because of it. It woul be nice not to have the same boring Abercrombie /American Eagle stuff so plentiful like at other locations. The prices are hit and miss like all locations but that's typical Platos. It's still a fun place with great prices in general. Last time I was there, I think they had discontinued selling makeup, which was so disappointing because that was a fun, inexpensive way to get top brands. None of the locations pay much for your items. It's a company thing. Why do you keep going back then complaining each time? I agree prices offered are too low and it's why I sell online. If you're not willing to invest that time and effort, Platos is what you get. It's immediate. You can also get more for trade. High end items sell well on Mercari. I do say that if someone stood outside and bought from mad Platos sellers ,they'd make a bundle but ya can't. I do agree with customers that say Platos employees tend to be really rude .Why they only seem to hire teenagers is beyond me. The customer service skills alienate a lot of visitors. I'll take the cool gal with the tattoos anyday. I come from Sevierville to this location. It's wonderful. Now, if only we could bar...

At least act happy for your customers and don't do an entirely silent transaction except for telling the total. Only decent person there is a red headed guy that was very sweet and cheerful. When I went to check out today as soon as I got to the counter the guy ignored us and left the register, then the girl told another customer who was picking something up to go to the register we were waiting at, she proceeded to COMPLETELY ignore us and ring her up even though we were standing right in front of the register and the other customer was off to the side. No "I'm going to get her real quick if you guys don't mind" or nothing, as if she just expected us to move. EXTREMELY rude. Also don't want to give you very much money for what you sell. I completely understand that they have to make profit, but I sold them a new American eagle sweater that they gave me under $5 for and when I went to the store again I saw they were selling it for $15... could've at least given me $6/7 for it. Also had to wait forever to try on a sweater because there was no one at the desk and employees were hardly anywhere to be found. Won't go there again unless it's something specific that I see posted on Instagram that I hold. (Which is just about the only good thing about them is that you can hold things...
