Pretty Drama — Local services in Klamath Falls

My experiences have been hit and miss at this salon. For the most part they do pretty good work. But I find it extremely unprofessional when you don’t have a card reader to accept credit or debit card and you wait until AFTER you had finished my nails to inform me of this and ask if I have cash. (This is the second time that’s happened at this salon)Which then sends me on a search for an ATM, never mind that my bank is no where near the salon which means additional fees for withdrawing money from my account. Adding to my incredulity and irritation when handing her the cash when she announced that she wasn’t sure if she had change...if you’re not going to have the business sense to have a credit/debit card reader at-least make sure that you carry the appropriate amount of change in varying denominations. Because handing over two $5 for $10 change pressures the client into feeling obligated to give a $5 tip. There was also the stink face from a nail tech when I walked in for my appointment and I asked about my appointment as well as the attitude in her tone, a blond next to the door that leads to the hair section of the salon. And the fact that the lady who did my pedicure (I wasn’t informed that I would have my mani and pedi done by two different techs and would have to pay two different times instead of the once. Again, great lack of communication) assumes that my French tip was going to be a pink and white instead of the plain white strip. With my permanent tan the pink she used looks unpleasant, and nicked all the skin surrounding my nail on one of my toes when removing the pink. At this stage I can honestly say that I’ll never be coming back to this salon. Bc I’ve dealt with having my cuticle badly cut by a USED yet somehow unseasoned emery board and nail techs who come into work with a visible cold that ends up being infectious because they don’t know what fevers look like or that they mean that your “cold”...

I can't say for all the other people that work there I went to Audrey and I would recommend to goes to someone else because she's usually late and she cancels your appointment a lot. We did a barter trade and if you don't know what a barter trade is it's basically when I Traded services or Goods in exchange for her doing my nails nothing's free we both paid something out of it and she basically thought that she was doing my nails for free. I was just really upset on how I got treated I don't know if it was because I'm black or if everyone else gets treated like that it was...

I just had my hair done by Adriana. I was a walk in client right before she was about to go home and she did not hesitate at all to get me in! She cut my hair absolutely beautifully, I got layers and bangs done (going for a 90’s blow out look) and she perfected it. Understood what I wanted and listened when I wanted something changed. I definitely recommend going to her and pretty drama, the people there are so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back for more coloring and styling! Absolutely amazing prices as well, I was shocked...
