Gathering Grounds Cafe & Roastery — Restaurant in Klamath Falls

I lived locally a couple years back but moved away. When I found out they were going to be rolling out a delivery subscription for their roasted beans, I decided I had to join. I seriously missed the product.

However, at some point GG had $170 dollars of mine, and I had zero product. My emails were not being responded to, my calls were not being returned, and I kept getting charged without receiving a single bag of coffee. 3 months later I recieved an email saying I was being refunded and it would be 2-3 days to go through. Over 2 weeks later I recieved a refund but not for the amount that was due. I have been waiting 4 MONTHS now since those refunds and have received zero correspondence to my multiple emails requesting the rest of my refund.

I love the product, the staff at the cafe has always been lovely, but this whole ordeal has been absurd and so annoying.

If you appreciate good espresso drinks and sophisticated, intentional coffee shop vibes, and you dread driving through small town America because you feel like you will encounter neither, then this place may be a pleasant surprise.

I enjoyed a flavorful, well made Americano at this downtown Klamath Falls coffee shop. Very friendly and prompt service. Good atmosphere except for the haphazard, chintzy wall hangings. I walked in on a hot summer morning and thought the place might be too hot to enjoy a sit down, but I acclimated and enjoyed myself. I didn't eat, but there are a few breakfast sandwiches that look like they might be tasty if you're craving cheese, eggs. And bread on the move.

I was coming in here a few times a week buying a specialty drink. I am allergic to milk so i get oatmilk. This person who was making my drink sometimes almost made it with cow milk a few days ago. I reminded him and told him i would have gotten very sick . Then 2 days ago he did the same thing again, only i didn't notice until it was too late. I became very ill. He denied it and refused to make my drink, and even though all i did was state what happened in a matter of fact calm manner, he told me never to come back again, over his error which he didn't apologize for, didn't make right, and called me a liar even though i was violently ill and know what it means to be lactose intolerant as i have been...
