Big Lots — Local services in LaGrange

Edited: The manager made everything right and had the set shipped to our home. It only takes one bad apple to give the entire store and bad look. Thankfully someone took their job seriously and wasn't rude for no reason at all.

Very poor customer service. Drove nearly 50 miles to purchase a patio furniture set that retails for a little over 1500.00 after we called to check to see if they had it. Upon arrival we were told it would be a few hours before we could get it because they were unloading a truck. We asked if we could pay for it and load it ourself since we towed the enclosed trailer with us and had our own hand trucks and she said no. We asked to speak with the manager and she arrogantly states that she was the manager. During the entire process she had the worst attitude. This was at the LaGrange, Ga location and I believe the managers name was Lisa. When someone comes to your store to spend that type of money you help them. We weren't there to spend a few dollars and even if we were anyone should still expect proper customer service. We called corporate and told them what happened and they said they would be calling us back soon. We will see if they're able to restore our faith in Big Lots because this experience will make us never shop...

I had been looking for a new air fryer. My son and I were just out browsing earlier this month and went into Big Lots to see what they had. I found just what I was looking for at a great price. The cashier LaShonda was very nice and helpful. We had questions and the manager I think her name was Lisa came over with the same great happy spirit to answer all our questions. I love this store an it's employees they are always friendly...

Great service and selection prices have way way gone up Big lots is supposed to be under Walmart pricing not Big Lots over Walmart. Not so much a discount store anymore. More like just below high end department store. Which the location of this store makes you want to put on bullet proof vest. And every single time I have to tell someone I have no spare change and run to car. But love the items...
