I met Danielle at an open house, where she appeared disengaged, uninterested and glued to her cellphone. Despite the poor first impression, I later reached out to see if she might be interested in co-listing a property, assuming she was active in the area. However, a quick MLS search showed she has only sold three properties in Laguna over the past year 2 of those being under 2M. No where near the type of volume you'd expect from a self proclaimed "top agent". I ALSO LEARNED THAT SHE HAS HAD HER LICENSE SUSPENDED NUMEROUS TIMES BY THE BUREAU OF REAL ESTATE FOR THE FOLLOWING OFFENSES: 1.) MISHANDLING OF TRUST FUNDS 2.) USING UNLICENSED OR UNREGISTERED BUSINESS NAMES 3.) FAILURE TO RETAIN ACCURATE RECORDS 4.) NEGLECTING SUPERVISORY DUTIES During our conversation, she abruptly ended the call after expressing frustration that I hadn’t disclosed I also happen to be an agent — though that information was never directly requested nor would it have materially affected the call. My vacation rental was covered in dust which made me sick from the dust mites, all the kitchenware was coated in dust as well forcing me to completely clean the property to reside in it. The staff is unbeliever rude. They overcharged me for one night and tried to shout me down when I inquired about it. They also never responded to my three calls asking for assistance with the TV setup. I was never informed of the scheduled repairs on the roof during my stay either until a week before. Team Laguna was aware they were scheduled well in advance. Then the owner and management never reached out to me about two personal items I left behind until I reached out to the owners who were more than aware I had left them.
