I came in recently with my mom and friend for blowouts that my mom had booked and chose Vogue based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews on their Yelp page. Having been to other regular salons and blowout studios like Drybar, they usually wash your hair before styling it. My mom texted the front desk prior to our appointment asking if they did that or if we should come in with clean hair and they said that they would do it there. When we arrived we had one person, Olga, doing all 3 of us back to back. My mom went first and had clean hair since she just had it colored. When Olga came to talk to my friend and I and noticed we both needed our hair washed she said ânext time come in with clean hair, itâll save you money and I donât have time with other appointmentsâ and told us that it would be more expensive because we had long hair and we needed washes. I told her we asked the front desk before the appointment and she said âthey donât always know our schedulesâ. They also never asked about the length of our hair at any point while booking the services. After washing my hair she did my friendâs and then put her in a chair with a blow dryer and told her to start drying her own hair to save time?? My mom had to tell the front desk and they had another stylist come over and blowout her hair and then Olga styled it when she was done with mine. Throughout the entire styling process the only thing Olga talked about was how dead my hair was and how she has to blow dry it in a certain way because it was dead and style it in a certain way because it was dead, etc. At first I was conversational about it and agreed that I did need a trim but comments continued the entire time to the point I just stopped responding to them and she did the exact same to my friend. Overall, the salon is very nice and clean but there was a severe lack of communication between the front desk and our stylist and we didnât leave feeling good about ourselves as we usually do after a great blowout. The manager was apologetic to my mom and intervened to get the second stylist to blow dry my friendâs hair when she was doing it herself and did offer us wine, which we politely declined. After the entire experience and the unexpected additional costs of the washes and charges for having long hair (my hair is midway down my back btw) I would not come back for...
Read moreArrived for color and cut. Erin and Sam did my color treated me so nicely and friendly chatter! We talked about Javalina's in Phoenix! Anyway they were VERY professional they know what they are talking about and execute very well. Sam washed my hair and I had they BEST experience with her attention to making me relaxed and giving me the best shampoo and massage ever. Then it was my turn with Eddie for a well over due haircut. I told him what I thought would be right for me. He calmly and professionally knew what to do with my hair and cut my hair to clean up all the old unhealthy length. The products he used on my hair were superb and really helped with thickness, hold and shine. Explaining to me (at my age I shoiud have known) how to properly brush my colick in the opposite direction that I've been doing wrong for all my life. My side bangs came out beautiful. What a professional salon and personnel. I look forward to returning on my next visit. Thanks for making me feel comfortable and...
Read moreMy first ever negative review about a Hair Salon. If you want a nice copper brown balayage do not go to Vogue Salon and see Massimo. Youâll get absolutely every color except the one you ask. Either blonde or brown, but for some reason, never even close to the color and also completely uneven. I first started with a blonde, balayage, medium tone, then I went back and I got a dark brown, and then it was platinum blonde at the tips of my hair for some reason. Uneven and more blonde specifically at the front but in a streaky, weird way. And only going from half of my hair, so it didnât make sense, not well blended. No copper in sight. And then damage your hair and cry for a week. If you are ok with this then go to Vogue Salon! The one positive thing is the manager was kindly...
