The Chakra Shack — Local services in Laguna Beach

I have always had a pleasant experience stopping by this store when I am in Laguna Beach.

They have a large selection of crystals and considering the prime location near beaches/downtown - I would say the pricing is slightly better (lower) than the average of similar shops in OC. If you are just getting introduced to crystals they have a lot of smaller rocks to choose from, which is a good way to find what resonates with you without having to commit to a large purchase. They also have larger/more fancy crystals for sale and while I haven't made a big purchase here yet, the crystals I have checked out seem like they are high quality and worth the price.

The staff periodically greets people and is attentive, but I have never felt like they were trying to upsell me or that I was being "watched". The sage that I purchased here recently was of remarkably high quality, and supercharged some of the crystals I own which I was pleasantly surprised by.

This place is definitely worth a visit and is one of the more "upbeat" spiritual shops...

I was very excited to come in to this shop and get an in depth aura reading, i had booked online on square for my aura picture and an in depth reading with a specialist by the name Natalie. Once my friend and I had arrived we were instructed to have our picture taken, the document was printed and vaguely described to me before being instructed to go into a room with Natalie. She was very kind and went over my colors and chakras for 10 minutes. Once I went to the register to pay for a couple of additional small items from the store, I was instructed to pay additional money for her to explain my aura reading. I already paid $40 online prior to going for my appointment. I had to pay additional $48 for entering a room. Shady tactic, I tried to ask why I had to pay extra since I paid online and was told because it was i entered the room. I wasn’t informed of additional charges before entering the room and the website description explains what I had received. Will not recommend my friends to come here...

Want visitors/people to feel welcome in your store? How about not following the ethnic locals around like we're about to steal something when we've done nothing but support you, FOR YEARS, while all others go about, unbothered. Won't be back, have told others not to support, cuz in 2021, it's not acceptable. Lucky I don't boycott. Never felt so humiliated in a long time, BYE! I'll order online, elsewhere, and now you loose one if your biggest supporters and $$$$$, cuz you never know who's shopping in your...
