Candy Baron — Local services in Laguna Beach

Have a lot of candy that you won't find in most places, so that is awesome. Parking is metered, and since it is in a tourist-centric location the prices reflect that. If they had a bit more US candy would give 5 stars as you could get anything here, but imagine stock depends on what sells. Staff are great, foreign candy variety is most excellent. I rarely get to visit Laguna but when I do I make sure to stop by Candy Baron. They have a specific flavor of taffy I LOVE that I can't find anywhere else (extra spicy cinnamon taffy mmmmmm) They charge taffy by the weight and they have a HUGE selection. Not only taffy, but unique and fun candy gifts too. Make sure to pay attention to what taffy you get bc some look very similar to each other. Female at cash register, said some negative comments in Spanish to her boss about my lady friend, assuming we didn't know Spanish, but I do . So I responded back to her an put her in her place. She was never Friendly to anyone, who walked in, even families with children!? I guess she hates her job. Her boss a male bumped into me, an never apologized or said excuse me. So they are both Rude and Disrespectful! I don't plan to patronize this candy store...
