Cool stuff but Horrible customer service. The owner was extremely rude. How you speak and treat your customers, especially when they ask simple questions or clarification of prices, should be an easy conversation. My 15 year old asked the employee, clearly the owner or manager of the place, a simple question about the price of an item. It was a glass blown pen, with stand and ink. She asked if she would sell the kit separately, since she already had stands and ink and only really wanted the pen. She replied yes and told her a price that was questionably high. The kit was $49. For just the pen it was $45. When my 15 yr old asked why such a small difference as all parts of the kit were glass blown, This employee told her “I know what my stuff is worth” and walked away from her rudely. My wife then walked over and asked to clarify, as she thought this person didn’t fully understand what my daughter was asking. So she just wanted to clarify the situation, in which the person responded “I already told her and I don’t need to say anything else. I know what my stuff is worth”. I do not recommend this place simply due to the treatment. Clearly not the friendliest place in the world and definitely horrible customer service. Especially, when they think it’s ok to talk to kids that way. Customer service can make or break a business. The customer isn’t always right, but they are never to be treated with such disdain and disrespect. Especially kids who had the money to pay for it. It wasn’t like she was trying to haggle, she doesn’t even know how to. She was simply trying to be clear...
Read moreThis is the most lovely and interesting stop in all of Lake Geneva! It was equally adored by our children and us today! We easily spent an hour here. The shop owners are so kind and we loved hearing about their global travels to find such unique and high quality items! The Tiffany lamps are beautiful and priced to sell. My husband loved the swords, dragons and baseball items. I loved the soaps, chandeliers and beachy art. My kids loved the music boxes, puzzles and the glass fountain pens. We seriously had the best time at this shop. The fun continued after when the children worked on their wooden Tetris/tangram puzzles for over two hours! We are always going to treasure coming to Lake Geneva...
