We're sad that we stopped here. They were open on a very busy August Thursday at 2:00 pm in downtown Lake Geneva. We were allowed to choose our seat and were cheerfully greeted by our server. Our experience went downhill from there. My wife ordered a Reuben sandwich with onion rings. I have a shellfish allergy so I asked the server if shellfish was served at this restaurant, she replied "No." So, I ordered a Cuban sandwich with fries along with a diet coke; no ice. Shortly after ordering she returned to tell me that the restaurant serves shrimp fried in the same oil as the fries. She didn't realize that shrimp were shellfish! Her exact words! Would I still want the fries? I opted for mashed potatoes and gravy. But wait, they don't have gravy....but she can offer butter. Okay. The meals arrive. No Diet Coke. The mash potatoes are cold. 3/4 of the way through the meal she returns to check on us. When informed about not getting a drink she argues that I didn't order it. She ignores my comment about the cold mashed potatoes. Meanwhile, the sandwiches are the highlight of the meal! She did bring my drink, bill, and boxes for leftovers There's a surprise $4.00 upcharge for the onion rings. When asked by the cashier about our experience, she too ignores our comment about the cold mashed potatoes and simply says "The upcharge is clearly printed on the menu." My family and I went here while on vacation, tho the food was good in my opinion was overpriced for what it was. Bill was $180. All all we got was breakfast burritos, and burgers!! We cld have went to red lobster for that price! We have 5 children and seen after ordering drinks that 18% gratuity was added for 6 or more, that's when we shld have left. The service was terrible, I asked for Cherry sprite, she said they don't have that, then my daughter asked for cherry Pepsi she said they can add grenadine 🙄,most of us sat with empty cups the whole time had to ask for more! When food came out I asked for mayo and ranch and I ate 60% of my food till she came back to table and I said can I have my sauce please and something to drink, she then got it! While bringing out food the carried tray over my daughter head and for some reason a wet blue dish towel was hanging off smack her right in the head with it. The restaurant was dirty as was the bathroom and no place to change a baby! They lady counted our money 6 times while paying! Bad service and got a 28 dollar tip! Smhh. If u want good food for good price go to next door pub... great food great service great price. As for this place we will not revisit...

I just had a really bad experience here, my first time in Lake Geneva and unfortunately it started off horrible thanks to this restaurant. It was six of us. We waited almost an hour for our food and the waitress was horrible to begin with. I was I would have gotten her name. When we finally got our check we each put in a $20 bill and gave her 18% tip which to me was generous to begin with. She took the check with the money and gave it to the gentlemen at the cashier and he told us we were $20 short. We triple checked and each put $20 in plus tip before giving it to the waitress. So she clearly robbed us and the cashier which seemed like the owner didn't seem to care or believe us and the waitress mysteriously disappeared as we were explaining to the cashier. We ended up having to give them the extra $20 that went missing and never saw the waitress again. If you do decide to go. Take the money straight to the cashier and not the waitress!!!!!
