The Riviera Ballroom — Attraction in Lake Geneva

We got married at the Riviera on May 31, 2025, and it was absolutely STUNNING! Before choosing this venue, we toured a few others, but the moment we walked into the Riviera, we just knew it was the one. It immediately felt like a true wedding setting — elegant, timeless, and full of charm.

After booking, Heather was incredibly helpful in answering all our questions and working with us to plan the perfect layout for the day. We were able to set up on Friday since the venue was available, which was a huge help. That said, we did run into a few logistical hiccups that evening because Heather wasn't on-site. Someone else was there who wasn't familiar with our event. It was a bit frustrating, but we managed to work through it and didn’t let it affect our excitement for the weekend.

Our wedding day was everything we hoped for. Our guests were blown away by the venue’s beauty. While parking in the area can be tricky, we sent out a parking map in advance, which helped a lot. Having our own private balcony overlooking the water was such a special touch, especially since the surrounding area can get busy.

I truly couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The Riviera will always hold a special place...

The Riviera Ballroom was an amazing venue for my daughter's wedding! It was absolutely a gorgeous location!

Heather, the person in charge, was fantastic! She was super responsive and never hesitated to answer my 1000's of questions. She was the "guru" who could help us with everything...from vendor suggestions to room layout suggestions....to EVERYTHING! She was absolutely awesome and deserves a raise!

We had 178 guests and decided to do a buffet. She was able to come up with wonderful layout suggestions that gave us room for a large dance floor.

We were concerned about parking for our guests and she suggested renting to closest parking lot! That was perfect!

I made appointments on several occasions to come in and look at the venue and she was so accomodating. We even did a surprise performance for my daughter and Heather showed us how to use all the equipment.

She suggested rental companies for chairs (they have chairs, but we had something else in mind). We also rented the cafe lights....they were beautiful.

Overall, it was a magical day and I wpuld suggest this...

My husband and I had our wedding there on March 29, 2025. We initially booked at another venue that ended up not matching what we were picturing. When our wedding planner, Jenna at Lakeside Bride, proposed the Riviera ballroom, we absolutely fell in love with it, and our day was so perfect. Since we were planning the wedding from New York, Jenna did all of the coordinating between vendors in Wisconsin. They were prompt in responding to any questions or concerns that we had and allowed us to come to the hall more than once to confirm that we wanted to have our wedding there. We loved that we were able to have security at the venue since it is a popular place and sometimes pedestrians will walk in. Luckily, Lake Geneva wasn’t too busy at that time so we didn’t have any issues. The reception hall and bathrooms were clean, and the staff was professional....
