It was the worst academy I ever went to Lazy people all around For a place that has new registers and plenty of employees, you would never know. I was in line to pay, and just four registers were open. But by the time the old lady in front of me, the cashier, just walked away without a word, leaving, I was waiting at the register when the other two cashiers finished, and I was about to walk to them. They just walked away leaving just one register attending the line. And was about other 6 customer behind me waiting so I just left my basket and walked away. And All cashier are talking at front door with other employees about who was staying and who was leaving. I just wasted 1 hour of my time and I’m not to waste more waiting for them at less the can say we be back on five minutes and gives the choice if we want to wait and respect for our time . Bass pro shop one more loyal costumer for you. Acadrmy are now the Walmart or the McDonald of the outdoors stores cheap and uneducated employees y far the laziest academy I have ever been .3

Won't ever be coming here again. I'm a long time Academy visitor and I've even had their Academy Credit Card for a while.

Bought some shorts for my wife off Nike.com and she went to see if Academy would do an exchange for a size bigger.

So whoever the older white man at the register was that said he "thinks she stole the items from this establishment"

has the worst customer service I've ever seen. Below is the receipt of purchase from Nike.com and she wasn't expecting to get the exchange. She wanted to try before we had to send them in and have them reshipped.

I don't have his name but I will go up there tomorrow with my wife so I can get the name and make a complaint. I don't ever do things like this, but just because my wife has a tattoo on her face ( I do also and I know for a fact she has no reason to steal, I also know for a fact this older gentlemen needs someone to teach him some manners. It's a box store. They have everything you'll never need. I think what makes any store different, when it's a large chain store, is the experience you have with the staff. It's almost as if training to work at these places is centered around how to look busy when you're not. Too busy to help customers. That is unless you walk all the way back up to the front doors to ask the greeter to call someone. Oh, and don't even bother checking inventory online because they won't have "it" when you get there.... That's if you find someone willing to help with physical inventory. So in other words, don't expect an experience that stands out from any other. If you are looking for something in particular that you can't find yourself, either leave or proceed to aisle 8 (I think). It's where the camping gear is and set up a tent! Oh and don't forget the Snickers bar. They're by the registers! You're going to be...
