H&M — Local services in Lakewood

I came on 12/27/2021 and was looking for a particular item for my girlfriend. My girlfriend tried looking online first to see if the item was in stock. The website did say so but she tried to call but was unable to reach anyone. She figured it was the holiday rush and short staff.

I was about to meet Guerado/Gerardo (sorry if missed spelled) the store manager and ask if he has seen or can help me find the item. He tried looking around and even checking the back. I told him I was not in a rush and if it was in stock I would look like a hero.

Gerardo could not find it in the back and was able to contact one of his associates, Chelsea, to help out. They communicated via walkie talkie and Chelsea was about to make a bee line to the hope of the accessory.

I wanted to thank you guys for all that you do and understand that I appreciate your help. I understand it gets a little hectic and people can be so rude and impatient.

I get frustrated here about 50% of the time. Online, it will show the items are in stock at this location (Lakewood), but when I go in, they are not. Especially mens accessories. Employees need to communicate better with customers. I wander around looking for stuff with no "hello" or anything from the 2 employees on the mens side of the store. On my last visit (12pm 2/5/23), I stood waiting at the register for 2-3 minutes, and finally, the girl says "can I help you?" Just need to checkout.. "Oh, those (registers) are closed. How would I know? No sign or immediate help. So I walked to the woman's department and then waited more as I was at the end of the long line. I was able to find 1 of 3 items I needed, and my only other option was to purchase the rest online with a shipping...

Definitely not my favorite H&M. I don't know what was up with this store the day I went in, but there was such a horribly strong smell of plastic or rubber permeating the store that I could smell it before I even walked in! It was so strong that I couldn't stand being in the store for more than a few minutes. Not to mention the layout of this location (mens vs womens vs kids) was just strange...
