This would be a 5 star review but I’m just a little disappointed with the seamstress. The selection of dresses far exceeded my expectations and my stylist was amazing. I ended up with this funky gown I never would have thought to choose. It was such a fun experience. My issue is that my gown had a piece of tulle that wraps around the shoulders which fastened to buttons in the back of the dress and can be removed if preferred. It was a major reason why I chose the dress because my now husband loves when I wear off the shoulder clothing. When I had my fittings, I mentioned to the seamstress on both visits that I was concerned that the wrap would not fit because I found it hard to believe it could be “one size fits all” since all women are different sizes with different shoulder broadness. She insisted it would fit and never properly fastened it onto me but simply held it snug around my shoulders stating it was fine. I should have been more firm and I regret that now. The day of our wedding my mother and my best friend fastened the fabric onto me and it was way too big. I had to hold my arms out wide to keep it from just hovering around me or falling down because it wouldn’t even touch my arms if my arms were down at my sides naturally. My sister ended up having to twist the tulle in the back several times so it would lay fitted against my arms and chest. The twist ruined the look of the wrap from the back and I ended up having to just take it off immediately after the ceremony. I’m so disappointed as this was one of the main reasons I chose the dress. Additionally, the seamstress insisted on 5 bustles which were not necessary and I never ended up using. I would have rather the cost of the bustles had gone to the adjustment of the wrap on my shoulders. The seamstress is the owner of the shop from what I understand. I do still recommend going to Liliana Bridal to try on and choose gowns but I would not choose them for adjustments to the gown. I feel like I lost my voice in the process and my concerns weren’t heard or acted on. If my expectations weren’t do-able, I feel as though that should have been communicated to me but when I voiced my concerns and the seamstress held up the wrap she pulled it tight to me like in my original try on and that was not at all how it ended up fitting. She should have fastened it to me to truly see the fit and we could have spoken about expectations and solutions from there. I’m just overall really disappointed that I didn’t get to use my favorite part of my gown because I wasn’t listened to. In this order: I have included two photos of me in the gown the day I first chose it in the bridal shop and how it was advertised and fitted to me (you’ll see the tulle piece was shown to be fitted). I have also included a photo from my wedding day of me in a hall from the back and where the tulle is properly fastened but I can’t put my arms down or it will just float out wide past my arms and that’s why my arms are spread/ it would fall down otherwise. I have included a photo from the front in a room with purple lights where I still can’t put my arms down and I’m spreading them out. I included a photo from the side where we had to twist the tulle because it was too big and it ruined the look of the wrap. Finally, I included how we had to remove it which essentially removed my favorite part of the gown and the intrigue, in my opinion. I know it is probably hard to understand what I am trying to convey in these photos because it looks fine with my arms spread but I couldn’t feasibly hold my arms like that all day and it wasn’t supposed to fit like that/ wasn’t how we fitted it the day I tried the gown on. The day of our wedding If I relaxed my arms naturally at my sides, the stiffness of the tulle would hover around me in mid air and look silly and eventually would slip down. Again, I still recommend this shop. I just would not use the seamstress or I would be a lot more stern about any concerns if you do use the...

You have to pay $40 for your appointment, and that does not go towards your dress if you buy a gown there. You do not get to pick gowns off the rack, rather the stylist picks them for you. I already had one bridal appointment elsewhere, so I pretty much knew what I was looking for. I’m not sure what their process is like if it’s your first time trying on dresses.
Although I did find my dress there, my stylist was not very helpful. I’m not sure if she was sick or hungover, but she seemed miserable. There were a few questions I asked that she answered with “I’m not sure”. She did not provide any information about the gowns I was trying on, and she was not very good about laying out the train or front of the dress. I’m grateful I found my gorgeous dress at Liliana’s, but my experience could have been much better, especially for $40.
UPDATE 1/6/24: The manager, Kat, called me shortly after leaving the original review to fully understand and see what could be done to better my experience. She invited me to come in to re-try on my dress, as well as took $40 off my total (the appointment fee).
Kat was very upbeat and accommodating. I went in today, tried on my dress, and fell in love all over again. She listened to my concerns about the first appointment and made sure to do everything that wasn’t done the first time, such as lay out the front and back of the dress, show how it was bustled, and make sure we got pictures of all angles. She really allowed us to take our time and gave her opinions about my many ideas to add drama to my sleek, timeless dress.
I even was able to try on a few veils and over skirts while I was there, as well as check out many of the accessories. Kat answered all of my questions and made sure I was happy with the pictures, veils, and dress before leaving today. I am changing my review to 5 stars.
Thank you for inviting me back in and making...
Read moreFirst off, give yourself extra time to find parking and avoid the stress of being late to your appointment. We all know time is precious in finding the dress. As for the experience ---- I was honestly disappointed with Liliana. I visited their website and found many beautiful dresses I couldn't wait to try! However, they didn't have a single one in the store. If you love a dress seen online, definitely call and confirm they have it in-store. I understand they were new releases, but it's still disappointing. While they offer a selection of designers, I felt like the dresses were all very similar. A large majority of what I saw were fitted, plunged, and not at all the type of dress I had in mind.
My consultant Grace was so kind, and I could tell she really cared about helping me find the dress. Although, I did have difficulty trying on the dresses. It was not as seamless as the previous shops I visited. I feel like Grace was not attentive to my needs when clipping the dresses to show or taking them away afterward. She often walked away, putting dresses back, and I had to put the dresses on hangers. I had to call my mom over several times for her help. In her defense, I was moving pretty quickly but I think it's better to stay next to the bride's door and be there the second she's ready to be clipped and walk out.
OH! I would also include that the dress size range is pretty small. I'm a size 10 and I think I could try almost all my picks. If you're a larger size or curvy you will likely have a harder time being able to try one of the dresses you...
