Maggie’s was the first and ONLY portfolio I looked at when looking to book a makeup artist for my wedding. I knew what look I wanted, which was to be myself but elevated, which is precisely what I got (and more!!) with Maggie. Just looking at her portfolio, I was already feeling like she was the one and I knew I had to contact her ASAP and prayed she was available. We chatted on the phone and I felt like we instantly clicked, like we were instantly girl friends. When I arrived at my trial in June, I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. She made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. We laughed and had all the girl talk. Maggie listened to my wishes and was incredibly flexible and willing to make any changes I requested, like trying out a different lip color. When she revealed my look to me, I cried because of what a gorgeous job she did. Fast forward to my wedding day, it was the best experience. I wanted a last minute eyeliner change and she once again was flexible and willing to listen. She chatted with my family and myself like she was part of the wedding party and we had been friends for years. Maggie being a part of my fairytale was a dream come true. Maggie was so fun and the most professional makeup artist. I cannot thank Maggie enough for making me feel so so SO beautiful and feminine for my wedding day. I am definitely a repeat client. I had been following Maggie's work for years before I got engaged. When I finally had my moment, I knew Maggie would be the first person to reach out to for bridal makeup. She was super speedy to respond to my inquiry and was so nice to communicate with over email. She doesn't typically work Friday weddings anymore, but she made an exception to work ours, and I was so grateful! When it came time for my makeup preview, Maggie made me feel very comfortable during the experience. As someone who doesn't wear makeup on a regular basis, I was really going outside of my comfort zone, but she was great throughout the whole appointment. There were a few things I wanted changed for the wedding day, which she was super receptive about, and my look on the wedding day was PERFECT! Both Maggie and Sam did makeup for me and my girls, and everyone was raving about their looks. I can’t say enough about how incredible of a job Maggie did for me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law for my wedding in November. I am someone who almost never likes how my makeup is done. It usually looks overdone, unnatural, and just doesn’t look like me. I could not be happier with Maggie’s work. My first comment to Maggie when she did my trial in September was that it looked like there was an Instagram filter on my face. I honestly was taken aback by how good the makeup looked. My skin looked flawless and glowy and I looked polished without looking overdone. She also did EXACTLY what I asked for, which was really important to me.
